#3 To elevate the lower mid card

The 24/7 Title can be defended anytime, anywhere - and it is not an exclusive title of the red brand. Superstars from RAW, SmackDown Live, 205 Live, NXT and NXT UK will be eligible to compete for the title. Hence, we might see the 24/7 Title on every brand of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company.

Although the company has mid-card titles like the Intercontinental Title and US Title, there is no denying that the lower mid-card Superstars have been neglected for a long time. They do not get nearly enough television time to get noticed, and that needs to change.

Numerous lower mid-card Superstars like Titus O' Neil, No Way Jose, Mojo Rawley, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and EC3 went after the 24/7 Championship. We already got three champions on the first night. Titus O'Neil became the inaugural 24/7 Champion, but it was short-lived since Robert Roode pinned him soon after; but that was far from the end - R-Truth dethroned Robert Roode to become the third champion.

#2 An attempt to increase the ratings

WWE has been suffering sub-standard ratings since WrestleMania. The poor ratings have presented another major challenge to Vince McMahon, and the Chairman brought some surprises to boost the ratings. The introduction of the 24/7 Title falls in line with the new vision that the Chairman has, and it could be a desperate attempt to solve the ratings problem.

Vince McMahon also introduced the Wild Card Rule a couple of weeks ago. A maximum of four Superstars from a brand could appear on the other brand through this rule. Moreover, the WWE Championship was defended on RAW and SmackDown Live right after the rule was implemented.

The rule of defending the 24/7 Title makes it exciting for the fans as the title could change hands every week. Considering we already saw three champions on the first night, we could expect the same scenario next week.

#1 More Titles on a big roster

It was chaos

WWE has a huge roster with a large number of Superstars. RAW has the bigger roster as it is a three-hour show. Though SmackDown Live runs for two hours, the blue brand still boasts a sizable roster. As a result, several Superstars do not get the chance to shine every week.

Since the brand split in 2016, the company brought several new titles. Apart from the RAW Women's Title and SmackDown Women's Title, we saw different Tag Team Titles for the red brand and blue brand. WWE also introduced the Women's Tag Team Titles this year.

Earlier, the company had singles titles like Hardcore Title and European Title. The current roster is bigger than the rosters in the past and thus, the 24/7 Title is a great addition.
