3 Things WWE could be planning on the RAW before Extreme Rules (8 July 2019)

Paul Heyman is the new Executive Director of RAW and he already made his presence felt last week. The Red Brand delivered one of the best episodes in recent weeks. Since it will be the final RAW before Extreme Rules this week, we are expected to see an action-packed episode.

Five matches are confirmed for Extreme Rules, and some more matches could be added on RAW this week. The Red Brand delivered some jaw-dropping moments last week as the show had an impressive start with Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman. The Undertaker showed up to send a message to Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. AJ Styles shocked everyone by turning heel.

Roman Reigns will team up with a mystery partner to take on Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon, but Shane will choose the partner of Reigns.

Under the supervision of Paul Heyman, we will be hoping to see good tag team matches. The RAW tag team division is in jeopardy as the twin belts haven't been defended in the last three pay-per-views. Since Extreme Rules is just one week away, the RAW Tag Team Championship should be on the line.

The Revival won the RAW Tag Team Championship last month on an episode of RAW. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, who were the previous champions, didn't defend the belts regularly. Moreover, the Revival also didn't fight at Stomping Grounds.

The Red Brand has several top-notch Tag Teams and we could see a multi-team match on RAW. It could be a fair way to decide the next challengers of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson. The Viking Raiders, the Usos, the New Day and the Street Profits could participate in the multi-team match.

#2 The United States Championship Match will be made official for Extreme Rules

Ricochet, who is the current United States Champion, is having a stupendous rivalry with AJ Styles. Within just two weeks of this feud, it has garnered the attention of the WWE Universe.

The two men locked horns on the RAW after Stomping Grounds, where the Phenomenal One picked up a win. They also crossed paths last week when Ricochet pinned Styles. Following the bout, Styles turned heel and dismantled the current US Champion.

Judging by the storyline, Styles will face Ricochet at Extreme Rules and the US Championship will be on the line. WWE is expected to make the match official on RAW this week.

Gallows and Anderson will be in the corner of Styles, and the former NXT North American Champion will have a mountain to climb at Extreme Rules. Since we already saw two regular matches between Styles and Ricochet, the match could have a new stipulation at Extreme Rules.

#1 Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin could interfere the Mixed Tag Team Match

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are certainly gaining momentum before Extreme Rules. The Champions faced Maria Kanellis and Mike Kanellis in a mixed tag team match on RAW last week. While it was an easy victory for Lynch and Rollins, they have significant challengers this week as Zelina Vega and Andrade will fight Lynch and Rollins.

Six nights before Extreme Rules, the Man and the Beastslayer will be aiming to send a strong message to Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin. Since it will be the final RAW before Extreme Rules, the Mixed Tag Team Match is not likely to have a clean finish.

Hence, we could see the interference of the Lone Wolf and the Sassy Southern Belle. It will not be surprising if Zelina Vega and Andrade join hands with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans to decimate Rollins and Lynch on RAW this week.
