Randy Savage had turned heel a couple of years ago, losing his WWE title to Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 5. His heel turn was completed when he disassociated himself with Miss Elizabeth and hired the cunning Sherry Martel as his manager.

A legendary feud against the fan favorite Ultimate Warrior led to a retirement match between the two colorful superstars at WrestleMania 7. After an exciting back and forth, The Warrior emerged victorious and Sherry Martel began assaulting Savage in a fit of rage.

Suddenly, Miss Elizabeth climbed the guard rails and entered the ring, clutching Martel and throwing her out of the ring. When Savage noticed her, he was visibly confused as to why she came to his rescue.

But it immediately became clear to him that Elizabeth still loved him dearly. Upon coming to this realization, The Macho Man grabbed his wife and took her in his arms, in one of the most heartfelt embraces in WWE history. The camera panned to the crowd and there wasn't one fan out there who didn't shed tears that night.

When WrestleMania returned to Madison Square Garden for its 20th edition, emotions were running high in the locker room. After traveling around the world and shedding blood, sweat, and tears for 20 years, Chris Benoit had finally gotten a chance to win the top prize!

During the final moments of what many consider to be the greatest triple threat match of all time, Benoit caught Triple H in a Crippler Crossface. The Cerebral Assassin gave it all, but failed to get out of the move, finally giving up and tapping out!

The sea of 20,000 fans erupted in cheers as a visibly tearful Chris Benoit grabbed the title belt, and you could tell that this was the greatest moment of his life. Eddie Guerrero, his longtime friend, joined him in celebration, resulting in perhaps the most emotional in-ring moment in WWE history.

When Eddie Guerrero came back to active competition after a year-long battle with his demons, the fans breathed a sigh of relief, assured that Eddie was as healthy as he had ever been.

Sadly, they were wrong. News broke out just weeks before Survivor Series 2005, that Eddie had died in his hotel room, due to heart failure. The wrestling world went into a state of utter shock. The following night on Raw, the WWE Superstars assembled on the ramp, led by Vince McMahon. He announced Eddie's death and a ten bell salute followed.

All throughout the night, we got several interviews from WWE Superstars, sharing their thoughts on Eddie's sudden demise. The most gut-wrenching interview was of the Rabid Wolverine, Chris Benoit, who was reported to be shaken to the core upon hearing the news.

It's said that after Eddie's death, Benoit was never the same and it contributed towards him going off the rails and committing the horrifying murders of his wife and kid, before killing himself.
