3 Wrestlemania 35 Booking Decisions That Will Get Massive Backlash

This year's Wrestlemania card is really looking good. The blend of nostalgia and young blood is a promising sign for a great evening of wrestling. The storylines and matches seem quite fascinating on paper. If the wrestlers could manage to meet the fan's expectations, it can become one of the best WrestleManias of all time. But, those are the things we also said about WrestleMania 34. That looked good on paper as well, but still, it missed the mark.

Everything could go south and the legacy of the event could get ruined because of just a couple of bad booking decisions. The writers need to be on point on April 7, lest WrestleMania 35 will be remembered for the wrong reasons.

3. Big E Costing Kofi Kingston his WWE Title Opportunity

Big E might be turning against Kofi

Kofi Kingston is one of the hottest acts going into this year's WrestleMania. Ever since his Gauntlet match before the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, fans have been rooting for him to finally get his hands on the WWE title. His road to WrestleMania was filled with roadblocks, but he overcame all odds to earn his opportunity to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship.

His New Day brethren played a huge part in getting him the match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Thus, they could also take that away from him.

People have been long expecting The New Day to break up so that Big E could get his well-deserved singles run. Unfortunately for him, Kofi suddenly became a fan favorite and got rocketed to the main event. The storyline is already there - Big E attacks Kofi to cost him his match at WrestleMania out of jealousy. Since this match is scheduled to be somewhere in the mid-card, WWE management can do something like this and Big E will automatically become a hated man in the company.

2. Putting the Usos on the Kick-off Show Again

The Usos are making the case to be among the best ever tag teams.

All the top wrestlers want to be part of the main card of WrestleMania to get more exposure, but the Usos have been really unfortunate in this regard. Despite being one of the best tag teams in the entire industry, they never receive the treatment they deserve. Every year, they do get a decent storyline and match to work with during WrestleMania season, but they typically get pushed to the Kick-off show, where their match is crammed between the battle royal and other interview segments.

Fans have been very vocal against this decision and WWE tried to rectify their mistake last year by putting their match in the main show. But, this year, sixteen matches have already been announced besides a couple of other segments with Elias and Alexa Bliss.

So, expect a couple of matches with inferior storylines to be put on the pre-show. Since the SmackDown tag team match consists of four teams, who were just thrown together, it might not make the cut. Considering the popularity of the Usos, the WWE Universe won't be happy with this decision.

#1. Charlotte Flair Winning Both the Championship belts at the end

Charlotte Flair is considered the odd woman out among the main-eventers this year.

WrestleMania is a pay-per-view where fans would want to go home happy. All WrestleManias are known for their main event and the last camera shot people get to see before the show goes off the air. This is the theory we fans believe....WWE, not so much. Last time we got a big babyface win was back at Wrestlemania 30, when Daniel Bryan beat the odds to close the show with WWE World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulders.

Since then, we have gotten a heel victory at Wrestlemania 31 (even though fans were really excited with the outcome), a couple of unpopular Roman Reigns wins at Wrestlemania 32 and 33, and another heel victory at Wrestlemania 34.

This year, fans are putting their money on Becky Lynch to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women's championships. This will make for a feel-good moment and seems like the only sensible outcome of their storyline. But, we should not forget that WWE management is really high on Charlotte Flair and since it is a history-making moment, there is a huge possibility that she will be the one standing tall at the end of their match. The crowd will literally start rioting in the arena itself if they actually went through with this.
