Pure hatred in full display, as The Miz wins his first WWE title

3 WWE fans who became famous overnight

Ever since pro-wrestling came into existence, there has been one crucial factor that has helped it become the global phenomenon that it is today.

That factor is the wrestling fans. They are the ones that make or break a superstar. They spend their hard earned dollars to visit weekly shows and watch the action unfold inside the squared circle. One of the most embarrassing things as a wrestler can be to wrestle a match in an almost empty arena, or even worse, an arena full of disinterested fans.

Although most of the time, the WWE cameramen focus on the action going on inside the ring, they will sometimes turn the camera towards the WWE Universe to get their reactions.

There have been multiple instances in the past where these cameras have caught a WWE fan at the exact moment they were heavily invested in the in-ring action. With the weekly shows being watch by millions of fans worldwide, it's common for a unique fan reaction to get noticed and shared on social media by thousands of people. Here are three instances when WWE fans achieved fame overnight, becoming hot topics of discussion on social media and wrestling forums.

As soon as Lesnar's music hit, the sea of fans roared in unison, in one of the biggest pops of the modern era. This guy stood out in the crowd though. As Lesnar appeared on the ramp, he did his signature pose that fans hadn't seen in 8 years. The camera quickly turned to Brock Lesnar Guy, who passionately imitated the beast's thunderous pose.

Almost instantly, social media began flooding with this particular image and it didn't take much time for him to become a famous meme, even getting featured on the meme database, KnowYourMeme.

Eventually, his popularity wore off and today, he consistently gets berated and ridiculed on wrestling forums for being one of the most obnoxious fans that have been in existence.

On the November 22nd, 2010 edition of Monday Night Raw, Randy Orton was set to defend his WWE title against the leader of Nexus, Wade Barrett. Orton got jumped on by the faction before the match, but still decided to defend his title. Thanks to an interference by John Cena, Orton somehow managed to retain the gold, but the cheers turned to a loud roar as The Miz's music hit!

In a span of minutes, Miz wore out The Viper enough to hit the Skull Crushing Finale and win his first WWE title. The arena erupted in a mix of cheers and boos, but a little girl stood out among the fans as she coldly stared at The Miz, seething with all the rage she could gather.

The girl quickly rose to fame on Twitter and gained several hundred followers in the process. As is the case with famous visuals like this one, she was turned into a meme too.

This image went on to become one of the most popular memes of 2014

If you ask a lifelong wrestling fan about the most shocking moment they've ever experienced over the course of their fandom, there's a high chance that their answer would be the moment when Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak came to an end.

The Deadman's streak was a legendary series of wins at the grandest stage of them all, beginning way back in 1991, when The Undertaker defeated Jimmy Snuka in his Mania debut. After going through some of the greatest wrestlers in the industry over the course of the next two decades, Taker finally fell prey to the beast, the former UFC champion, Brock Lesnar.

The moment Lesnar pinned Taker, the entire arena went into stunned silence. A visibly shocked Paul Heyman screamed joyously, while the camera shifted to the fans in the arena, capturing Mbeh in a state of utter shock. WWE went ahead and featured him on their list of the most famous fans, he got to meet with the Deadman, and of course, was turned into one of the most famous memes of 2014.
