4 biggest reasons why Vince McMahon wants Brock Lesnar to win another world title

Money in the Bank, possibly the most underwhelming pay-per-view, ended with Brock Lesnar winning the briefcase. Earlier in the show, someone attacked and hanged Sami Zayn upside down. Triple H, being concerned about Zayn, ordered Braun Strowman to leave the building because he was the suspect. WWE didn't explain anything about the situation, and at the main event, the Underdog from the Underground didn't appear, and the match started with 7 participants.

Almost every Superstar was just one step away to become Mr. Money in the Bank, but in the end, Ali was on top of the ladder with the briefcase being inches away from him. But before he could win the bout, Lesnar returned and wasted no time attacking the SmackDown Superstar. Fans were shocked, and before they could process anything, The Beast became Mr. Money in the Bank.

The fans are angry at Vince McMahon because they didn't want to see a part-timer winning the MITB briefcase. And Vince knows that. Still, he did what he shouldn't have, and now, it is inevitable that Lesnar will successfully cash-in his contract on either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston. Here are four reasons why Vince McMahon wants The Beast Incarnate to win a world championship again.

#4 Brock Lesnar has always been a significant hit for WWE

Jim Cornette revealed an exciting story about Lesnar in an interview. He explained that when The Beast was signed under a developmental contract, WWE was paying him four to five times as compared to other talents. Since debuting on the main roster, Lesnar became The Next Big Thing. In less than two years, he became the toughest and most popular Superstar in WWE and Vince liked that.

Lesnar left WWE in 2005 and returned after seven years, in 2012. Again, Vince didn't waste time pushing The Beast in his feud with The Cenation Leader, John Cena. Then, he broke The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak and years later, defeated Goldberg for the Universal Championship.

Since then, the fans have criticized him and WWE for having a part-time champion but Vince McMahon never completely listened to us. He did what he wanted and kept giving victories to Lesnar. And that's because Lesnar has always lived up to Vince's expectations. He is still popular among the fans, who pay to watch him live, and it could be a reason why the boss wants him to win a title again.

#3 Because Vince McMahon can't afford to lose him to AEW

Will Lesnar join AEW?

We have seen Paul Heyman saying Lesnar won't work for WWE if he isn't a champion. Well, it's true in a way.

The past two years were full of title matches for Lesnar, and he rarely worked for Vince without a championship match. When he lost the Universal Title to Seth Rollins, fans expected him to be out for some months at least. It meant that until that time, Lesnar could work anywhere he wanted.

He has already retired from UFC, and the only place he could work (except WWE) is All Elite Wrestling (AEW) because they can afford to pay Lesnar. However, as we already know, Vince has already invested millions in building The Beast's character, and he would not let him leave quickly. Now, a championship is the only way Lesnar will remain in WWE and what else could be a better way to win it than with the Money in the Bank contract?

#2 SmackDown Live is moving to Fox, and Vince McMahon wants Lesnar to be the cornerstone of the blue brand

Lesnar could jump ship to SmackDown Live

In 2018, WWE signed a deal with Fox to broadcast SmackDown Live on their network. This deal is worth over 1 billion dollars and will be effective from this October for the next five years. Fox has already demanded WWE to make SmackDown a sports-oriented show, and it could be another reason why Brock is back in the title scene.

Lesnar doesn't do talking as the only thing he knows is to crush his opponents and take them to the Suplex City. The Beast also has an MMA background which makes him seem like a legit tough guy. If he steps foot on SmackDown, then this brand will quickly get a sports-oriented feeling.

If Lesnar cashes in his Money in the Bank contract on Kofi Kingston, then it's almost confirmed that he will end up winning the WWE Championship. Even though it's something the fans don't want to see, it will give Lesnar a reason to work on SmackDown Live and convert its focus on wrestling than any other thing.

#1 To boost Raw and SmackDown's ratings

Lesnar's appearance guarantees high viewership to WWE

As of now, we don't know if Brock Lesnar will cash in against Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston. The only thing we know is that he is Mr. Money in the Bank and he has an opportunity to win another world championship in WWE.

The fans don't want to see him in WWE, and they tend to boo The Beast whenever he appears. However, we should accept the fact that whenever Lesnar makes his appearance, ratings touch the sky. Fans who boo him ultimately enjoy seeing The Beast even if he appears once in a while.

Now that The Conqueror has won the Money in the Bank briefcase, it wouldn't be shocking if he appears multiple times on Raw (or SmackDown) before actually cashing it in. WWE could announce his appearance in advance so that the fans could catch the action while it's live.

Eventually, he could end up winning another title and occasionally appear on WWE whenever Vince wants him to. While we know, it shouldn't happen, but since it has happened many times, there's a possibility that history will repeat itself.
