4 Botches You Probably Missed This Week On Raw (April 1st, 2019)

The final episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of WrestleMania took place last night and even though this was billed as one of the biggest episodes of the year, it appears that it failed to live up to the hype.

WrestleMania is just six days away now and many of the stars who were part of Monday Night Raw last night will be competing at WrestleMania this weekend, including the three women in the main event who were arrested on Raw after a huge brawl broke out following their match.

The pressure of WrestleMania gets to every superstar regardless of their level and last night further proved this as a number of botches were noted as part of the show once again.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defended their Raw Tag Team Championships against Aleister Black and Ricochet last night on Raw, but whilst the match itself was solid and showed why The Revival are easily considered to be one of the best tag teams in the world, Scott Dawson had a small accident.

Whilst Aleister Black was on the outside, he headed over to pull Scott Dawson off the apron and accidentally pulled his wrestling gear down by mistake. Raw officials acted fast and were able to cut the feed before Dawson's rear end was spotted on screens all over the world and by the time the feed came back he was able to pull his gear back up and maintain his dignity.

This is becoming more and more regular on Raw lately with Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks being notable names to suffer wardrobe malfunctions in recent months.

#3. Natalya doesn't need help getting in the ring

Beth Phoenix returned to the ring this week on Raw

Beth Phoenix returned to action on Raw this week for the first time in more than six years as she became the headline act in a tag team match that included all of the women who will be fighting for the Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.

Phoenix teamed with her longtime friend Natalya and the two women headed to the ring together, but as Phoenix stepped through the ropes she looked to hold down the middle so that Natalya could glide through, something that The Queen of Harts refused.

As the video below shows, either Natalya spotted the gesture and refused to be helped into the ring or Nattie didn't notice that Beth had pulled down the rope for her which is why she opted to go under the middle rope instead.

#2. What was that supposed to be Becky?

It was an interesting week for Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch teamed with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey against The Riott Squad this week as the build-up towards their main event WrestleMania match continued. Lynch took most of the abuse throughout the match and at one point was in the ring with Sarah Logan looking to go for her diving elbow when it seemed as though she slipped and her arms failed to land in the right place.

Later on in the show, the women brawled in the ring and were then arrested and led to the back, a brawl that also contained a number of botches as Ronda Rousey got caught up in one of her arresting officers radio mics, so he was forced to take it off on stage and Lynch then kicked it out of the way on her way to the back.

#1. Sasha Banks' shocking double botch

Sasha Banks had quite an interesting week on Raw

Sasha Banks and Bayley teamed with Beth Phoenix and Natalya this week on Raw against the team of The IIconics, Nia Jax and Tamina but there were a number of botches throughout the match.

Sasha Banks looked to deliver her usual arm drag from the second rope to Peyton Royce in the shine of the match but The Boss slipped off the rope and then tripped as she landed on the floor. The Tag Team Champion then looked to go for another variation of the move from the middle of the ropes instead but once again this went wrong.

Banks and Bayley defend their Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania on Sunday night and this was probably the worst thing that could have happened to their confidence ahead of the event since many of the WWE Universe noted the botches on Social Media.
