Becky Lynch

4 Potential Challengers For Becky Lynch After WrestleMania 35

Over the last several months, there hasn't been anyone in WWE who has been consistently more over than "The Man" Becky Lynch. Originally, the former SmackDown Women's Champion wasn't supposed to be in the main event of WWE's biggest show of the year, as the spot was pegged for Charlotte Flair.

One would assume that WWE is going to do the right thing, which is put the Raw Women's Title on Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35, as it would likely be a complete disaster if they decided to do anything else.

The interesting question is, who does she end up pinning or submitting? Many believe that she should tap out Ronda Rousey, as the current Raw Women's Champion is rumored to be leaving WWE after WrestleMania.

But, you can't rule out that they'll have Becky beat Charlotte at the event in order to protect Rousey if she decides to come back at some point, or if she's going to be sticking around for a little while longer.

Regardless of what happens, everyone expects Becky Lynch to win the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania, and here are four women who she could end up facing after the event.

#4 Shayna Baszler

Current NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler has been in WWE's developmental system for quite some time now, which means that she could be heading up to the main roster soon.

We all know that WWE is planning on doing their annual Superstar Shakeup exactly eight days after WrestleMania 35, and Baszler could be one of the few NXT stars who gets called up to the main roster.

Baszler is one of Ronda Rousey's close friends, so if the current Raw Women's Champion does leave WWE after dropping the title to Becky Lynch, it would make sense for the current NXT Women's Champion to make her Raw debut during the Superstar Shakeup, where she'd presumably challenge "The Man" for the red brand's main Women's Championship.

#3 Natalya

At one point, Natalya was going to be the one to challenge Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35. But in WWE, plans are never set in stone, and at some point, the match was changed to Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair.

So instead of challenging for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania, it's quite possible that we'll see Natalya challenge for the title at the next WWE pay per view, which will be the Money in the Bank show on May 19. It's also possible that she ends up challenging for the title on the Raw after WrestleMania.

Due to Beth Phoenix now being back at Natalya's side, this could be a great match up for Becky Lynch, as it would feature the company's hottest babyface going up against a formidable opponent with a former Women's Champion in her corner. Essentially, Lynch will be outnumbered, but will presumably overcome the odds as babyfaces often do.

#2 Ronda Rousey

As previously mentioned, it's been reported that Ronda Rousey will leave WWE after WrestleMania 35, as she's not booked on any shows following the Raw after the event. But if she decides to stick around, then a one on one match with Becky Lynch would probably be incredible.

If Lynch ends up pinning Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, then that'll likely mean that Rousey is sticking around for at least one more pay per view match. Remember, the current Raw Women's Champion was originally supposed to go one on one with "The Man" back at Survivor Series, but unfortunately, the latter was injured after being punched in the face by Nia Jax.

This match could also happen on the Raw after WrestleMania, which is supposedly Rousey's last contracted date with WWE. Of course, that match would likely end with the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion submitting to Becky Lynch.

#1 Charlotte Flair

If Becky Lynch does either pin or, more likely, submit Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35, then you should expect to see Charlotte Flair be "The Man's" next challenger.

As previously noted, Rousey is likely done with WWE, at least for the time being, so it would only make sense to do a Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair feud coming out of the company's biggest show of the year, as it's probably the biggest possible Raw Women's Title program they could do.

Who Lynch faces next is entirely dependent on who she beats at WrestleMania. If she pins or submits Rousey, then she'll likely begin feuding with Flair after the event, and if she pins or submits Flair, then she'll probably end up having a one on one match with Rousey at some point in the near future.

It also depends on whether or not Rousey sticks around for one more match, and if she doesn't, then expect to see Becky Lynch be the first to submit the current Raw Women's Champion at WrestleMania 35.
