4 Reasons why Brock Lesnar could move to WWE SmackDown in the Superstar Shake-Up

The Superstar Shake-Up stars later tonight and it could change the landscape of RAW and SmackDown for the near future. Without wasting any time, let's go straight to one of the biggest moves WWE could announce - Brock Lesnar heading to WWE SmackDown from the red brand.

#4 WWE SmackDown moving to FOX

We all know now that WWE SmackDown will be moving to FOX later this year and it's actually a big deal for WWE. Not only is the deal lucrative, but WWE will also be on one of the top sports channels around.

However, WWE still has some things to do before their move to FOX. SmackDown is seen as the secondary show now, because of perception, more than anything else because SmackDown ends up being the better show most weeks.

With the impending move to FOX, WWE needs to move some big names over to the blue brand and one of the easiest to move will be Brock Lesnar. Lesnar rarely appears but just his aura as a part of the roster will help. And, when Lesnar does show up for his matches every other quarter, he'll be a top level draw for SmackDown.

#3 To keep Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins apart

Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to win this WWE Universal Championship for the first time. Rollins did this by hitting Brock with a low blow before hitting him with multiple Curb Stomps to finally slay The Beast.

However, it looks like there won't be a rematch between the two anytime soon and one of the easiest ways to keep Rollins and Lesnar separated in the coming months will be to move Lesnar over to Tuesday nights. More so, Brock Lesnar hasn't been on SmackDown for years. More on this in the next slide.

#2 To help change the perception of SmackDown Live

Can SmackDown be on par with RAW?

Before I get to the heart of the point, I just want to state two bits of information.

Firstly, in my opinion, WWE SmackDown (read results here) is the better show on most weeks. Not only does the show flow better but it also has less filler because it's not 3 hours long.

Secondly, I'm sure we all know that SmackDown is technically considered the B-show by WWE (which ends up rubbing off on fan perception).

With SmackDown moving to FOX, WWE needs to change the perception of SmackDown. One easy way to do it is to draft Brock Lesnar over to the blue brand.

Lesnar is one of the, if not THE biggest star signed to WWE right now and 'The Beast' moving to SmackDown wouldn't just come as a shock but it would also help put SmackDown on the same level as RAW in the eyes of fans.

#1 To put both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns on the blue brand

Reigns vs Lesnar on SmackDown?

WWE SmackDown needs some big names before it moves to FOX later this year and one of the top names rumored to be heading to the blue brand is the recently returned Roman Reigns.

SmackDown has a series of fresh matches waiting for the Big Dog but one rematch that a section of fans, including me, are waiting for is to see Reigns have another go at slaying The Beast.

I know that a lot of fans will say that Reigns doesn't really need the rub but it's just a fantastic match which will help SmackDown cement itself as an equal to RAW - a perception problem which we touched on in the last slide.

I'd also like to add that WWE should get Lesnar to put over some young stars while he's still in WWE.
