John Cena and Randy Orton, are arguably two of the biggest superstars of all time in WWE. While John Cena is loved by his fans all over the world for his 'never give up' attitude, Randy Orton commands his fan following via his vicious on-screen persona and his heel character. They have given the WWE Universe some very compelling storylines and matches, which have come to define large portions of both superstars' careers. Both of them are sure-fire Hall of Famers, with many world title reigns under their belts. They both technically can break Ric Flair's record of 16 world championships. Every time they stepped in the ring with one another, the atmosphere was electric.
Even though they faced one another on many live events, RAW and SmackDown events, here we shall be focusing on their best pay-per-view matches. These matches will definitely go down in the pro-wrestling history as some of the greatest matches ever.
Cena and Orton faced each other in a TLC match to unify the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship. While Cena was defending the World Heavyweight title, Orton defended his WWE Championship.
Both Cena and Orton hit one another with tables, ladders, chairs and every possible weapon in their vicinity. This match was worth the worth the price of admission for every single person who went to witness the match. Orton and Cena tried multiple times to climb the ladder and unhook those titles. However, every time their efforts were made futile by the fellow competitor. Finally, Orton handcuffed Cena to the ring ropes and went on to achieve victory, thus becoming the undisputed champion in the WWE.
This match was one of the best TLC matches in WWE at that point of time.
