5 Biggest WWE Superstars Vince McMahon Likely Doesn't Want On Television Anymore

Ever since the company has struggled to gravitate strong numbers in viewership, WWE have tried to push all things necessary in order to garner attention from legions of professional wrestling fans.

With the latest 'Wild-Card Rule' receiving some vehement criticism within the internet wrestling community, one only wonders what might transpire once All Elite Wrestling hits our television screens.

It's understandable that Vince McMahon is undoubtedly the greatest wrestling promoter in the industry and will remain so, forever.

The Chairman of the Board's latest creative genius has resulted in major names showing up on both brands courtesy of the Wild-Card Rule and amidst all the mainstream hype, a select few superstars are struggling to get any significant TV time.

While names like Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Becky Lynch, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, A.J. Styles, Braun Strowman, and Lars Sullivan have been making statements on a weekly basis, this particular article will throw light on the WWE superstars who may not be appearing on television anytime soon.

#1 EC3

Will he ever rise on the main roster?

Anyone who has been familiar with EC3's work in Impact Wrestling knows that the guy is a very proficient performer, but charisma without any character could prove to be a calamity on the WWE main roster.

Despite scratching and clawing to find his way back to NXT and eventually WWE, the 36-year old Superstar has spent most of his time jobbing out to main event talent on Monday Night Raw.

The Top One Percent of the wrestling industry was last seen on television on the April 15th edition of Monday Night Raw where he was single-handedly destroyed by Braun Strowman followed by a vicious chokeslam through the stage.

While legions of WWE fans denounced the superstar's treatment on the main roster, it genuinely felt like it was a way to write him off television.

Regardless of the fact that his athletic prowess and charisma has got him so far in the world of professional wrestling, The Top One Percent may find it hard to return to television anytime soon.

#2 Lio Rush

This man may have major heat backstage

Despite making a name for himself on the independent circuits, Lio Rush finally found his claim to fame when WWE aligned him with 'The All-Mighty', Bobby Lashley.

An alliance with the former Intercontinental Champion certainly provided him with the time to excel on the main roster with his incredibly efficient mic-skills and breath-taking athletic prowess.

However, with rumors of Rush having major backstage heat running rampant, multiple publications have reported that The Man of the Hour has asked for his release from Vince McMahon's billion dollar company.

Furthermore, with the company rejecting his request, the 205 Live Superstar may not appear on television anymore and would be staying with WWE until his current contract runs out.

Considering that Rush has thrown light on how he views himself as a legitimate superstar, the company's reluctance of showering the spotlight could see him miles away from Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

#3 Luke Harper

One of the most talented in the game

Widely recognized as one of the most talented technicians in the world of professional wrestling, Luke Harper has also struggled to find any spot on the main roster ever since returning from injury.

The former Intercontinental Champion has been pretty open about his current situation with the WWE and despite asking for a release, the company may very well put him under the shelf until his contract runs out.

While a superstar of his credibility could see the light of the day on the main roster, but Vince McMahon certainly has no ongoing plans for the former SmackDown Tag-Team Champion.

With his contract now likely to expire in May 2020, one can't help but admit that WWE may not use him anymore on the main roster and although Harper has played a prominent role in many of the company's live events recently, his return to television seems impossible.

#4 Jason Jordan

There's no chance

Despite of the backlash the company received for booking Jason Jordan as Kurt Angle's illegitimate son on Monday Night Raw, one can't help but admit that the former NXT sensation was incredibly agile between the ropes.

His proficiency as a professional wrestler was a testament to how good he could become if provided with the right amount of depth and creativity to his character.

While Vince McMahon did everything he could to propel him to a different stratosphere in 2017, an unfortunate neck injury sidelined Jason Jordan and has kept him out ever since.

Considering that the severity of the injury coerced the company to keep him out of the equation, Jordan is currently learning and working alongside the WWE management behind the scenes.

Although the company still recognizes him as a Monday Night Raw Superstar, the chances of him returning to the squared circle and television look pretty difficult.

#5 Eric Young

Will he ever make the final cut?

Highly acknowledged in the entire world of professional wrestling, Eric Young is another WWE superstar who is finding it real hard to find any television time on the main roster.

Whilst Triple H's creative genius opened the gates for SAnitY to run riot in NXT, the talented faction never really got the chance to showcase their talent under Vince McMahon's wing.

Considering that age is taking its toll on Eric Young despite being a pretty versatile performer, the 39-year old veteran may not be featured anywhere near television, especially after the recently introduced 'Wild-Card Rule.'

It's understandable that Vince may not wish to push him to the moon, but the fact that they never really got the opportunity to destabilize top factions on the main roster has left us all disappointed.

Although he played a small role in The Miz's feud with Shane McMahon, his last televised match saw him lose to The A-Lister in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match on SmackDown Live.

Will he ever return to television? Unfortunately, the answer is not what many would want to hear.
