Let's be honest here.

It may not have had the best design or even the best name when it was revealed by Mick Foley on Monday Night Raw, but WWE has taken far too much crap over their attempt to insert comedy into their weekly show. Of course, a lot of that has to do with the WWE Universe wanting the Hardcore Title back.

With that being said, the belt serves its purpose of comedic relief, inserts a chaos element into the picture, gives a number of undercard talents something to do and is fun to follow on social media. If nothing else, the WWE Universe made too much of the belt's faults and didn't sit and consider what the true intentions of the strap were.

If they would have done that, they would have realized that it wasn't meant to the Hardcore belt reincarnated, but a chance to give mid-carders some air time and insert some comedic relief into the show. Beyond that, it again gives that chaotic atmosphere and will continue to do so if WWE can come up with creative situations for the belt.
