5 candid photos from WWE Raw you didn't see on TV (Exclusive)

This week's episode of WWE Raw emanated live from The Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY, and I was in attendance for the event.

The experience of seeing a WWE live event is very different from seeing it on TV, as there are a lot of moments the fans in attendance see to which the fans viewing at home are not privy. One could call it a pulling back of the curtain, so to speak, as the live crowd is very much seeing the production side of a WWE live event, and sometimes, you catch glances of certain performers or segments from POV's different from that of the TV viewing audience.

With the above in mind, let's take a look at 5 candid photos from WWE Raw this week that you did not see on TV.

#5 Zack Ryder's father

A native of Long Island, New York, Zack Ryder's father is a big supporter of his son, and has been spotted at numerous WWE live events in the past.

This week's episode of Raw was no different, as Ryder's dad was seated at ringside for the duration of the show, to cheer on his son Zack.

In the above photo, Ryder's father is the tanned, blonde haired man who is in great shape, and he was certainly grinning ear-to-ear when he saw his son Zack manage to defeat Mike Kanellis in a match which lasted under one minute.

Ryder's father got a kick out of Maria Kanellis' promo after the match, during which she claimed her unborn baby had a better chance of defeating Zack Ryder in a singles match than her husband, Mike Kanellis.

Fans attending events in the NYC area can always keep an eye out for Ryder's dad, who frequents many WWE events at which his son competes.

#4 Randy Orton

If ever there was a "behind the scenes" moment at a WWE live event, Randy Orton on Raw this week was definitely one of them.

After being eliminated from the 10 man battle royal main event on the show, Orton was unable to exit the ringside area before the post-match segment with Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar began, leaving Orton stranded in front of the guard rail.

At one point, a referee came down to check on Orton to see if he was injured, but The Viper explained he was fine and just didn't want to exit to the back so as not to distract the Rollins and Lesnar exchange which was happening in the ring and on the entrance ramp.

At one point, Orton joked that he might pretend to be asleep, and then he teased throwing his wrist tape at Rollins during The Kingslayer's in-ring promo. Definitely a great, candid moment.

#3 Big E

Ever the oddball, New Day member and current WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion Big E has an interesting way of taunting fellow WWE superstars.

During the entrances of the men competing in the battle royal main event on Raw this week, Big E struck a bizarre pose on the ring ropes, and proceeded to taunt superstars who walked near him.

The New Day big man at times was sticking his tongue out at other WWE stars, and was playing mind games in a way you do not see too often from other WWE stars. To say Big E is pretty shameless when it comes to showing off his pelvic region, much to the dismay of other WWE stars and possibly audience members, would be a massive understatement.

Nevertheless, Big E was very comical last night, and during a commercial break before the match started, he even took time to snap a few selfies with New Day fans at ringside.

#2 Becky Lynch

The Man spent a lot of time with her adoring fans in Long Island on WWE Raw this week, as Becky Lynch posed with tons of people seated ringside for her appearance during the Fatal Four Way Women's match.

During the match, Lynch could be spotted scouting the talent in the ring, as well as mugging for the fans seated around the entire ringside area.

In the photo above, Lynch was making her initial entrance, and she took time to shoot off a couple remarks to the live crowd about how she was not missing an appearance in New York despite being banged up from her match against Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin the night before. For those who do not recall, Lynch suffered a bump on her forehead during the bout courtesy of an accidental chairshot from Lacey Evans, and The Man was on the receiving end of an End of Days from Baron Corbin.

#1 Bray Wyatt

The Fiend has finally arrived on WWE Raw, and the crowd in Long Island went absolutely nuts for the return of the former Wyatt Family leader, Bray Wyatt.

What fans do not know about the above photo, is that it was actually captured in the dark immediately after Bray Wyatt set Finn Balor up for the eventual Sister Abigail.

Prior to Wyatt delivering the move, Wyatt hit the ring in the dark and nailed Balor with some quick offense, even hitting what looked to be a modified Rock Bottom under the glow of the firefly cell phone users.

Following the attack, Wyatt was positioned in the dark for a few beats before the lights hit, and the above photo captures the true eeriness of seeing The Fiend character debut live.

Fans at home watching on TV were just as excited as fans in the arena to see the return of Bray Wyatt, and here's to hoping what we saw on Raw this week is just the very beginning!
