WWE Theme Songs have a big role in a Superstar's character development in my opinion.

5 current WWE Superstars who have theme songs that perfectly suit their persona

I am a firm believer that there is not just one thing that can make a crowd resonate with a WWE Superstar. Wrestling ability, promo skills, charisma, unique attitude and impressive body physique are all things that are needed to get a wrestler popular or over with the audience. These factors help tell a story about that Superstar and what they are about.

However, I feel that WWE Theme Songs are not appreciated enough despite being a huge reason for the success or failure of a Superstar. Good music and/or lyrics in WWE should tell you a lot about the persona of a wrestler. For example, every time that glass would shatter in the 1990's, fans knew that 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was coming out to raise some hell on some poor S.O.B. Fans knew instantly from the lyrics of D'Generation X's theme that Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chyna were a trio that loved to test authority and rebel against the system.

Hence, I have decided to talk about 5 WWE Current Superstars that have theme music which gives the WWE Universe a great idea as to what their personality is like.

5. Nia Jax's Force of Greatness (by CFO$).

Nia Jax Theme Song lets fans know she is a force to be reckoned with, and we love it.

Nia Jax has a theme song which explains what she is all about. From the moment Jax stepped foot into the WWE, we all knew she was going to bring something to the Women's Division we had not seen before.

Nia Jax has a different physique compared to any other Woman to have graced the WWE ring and that makes her so special and unique. The 'Force of Greatness' theme song truly captures Jax's character, specifically with the main lyric in the song 'I am not like most girls, I don't just take what I am given....', because it reiterates the key parts of Nia's identity to WWE Fans: Firstly, Nia Jax is original and one of kind, and secondly, nothing will get in Nia's way of destroying and railroading her opponents.

This is why I truly believe that Nia Jax has a theme that matches with what we should understand about her and her persona. I personally think it is one of the best theme songs in WWE's recent history.

4.New Day's (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E) New Day, New Way (by Jim Johnston).

The New Day's energetic theme song is just right for the trio.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E) are a faction with the optimistic message that you can be successful in life with positive thinking, and their theme song really shows that.

The WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team are always creating a good time for the WWE Universe with their comedic promos and outstanding chemistry. Their entrance music adds the cherry on the top. The upbeat rhythm of their entrance song is quick to get any WWE crowd on their feet, and any fan watching at home on their couch. Big E, Xavier and Kofi are all fun-loving guys and this truly coincides with their theme music, which breeds the same amount as enthusiasm as the trio.

Their personas are clearly alive in the New Day, New Way melody created by the musical genius that is Jim Johnston. The song's Gospel Pop element really suits this goody-goody babyface stable.

3. AJ Styles' theme: Phenomenal ( by CFO$).

Enter AJ Styles' theme really is 'Phenomenal'

AJ Styles has been WWE's most popular Superstar since his early 2016 arrival in the company, irrespective of his stint as heel or face. Apart from the fact he seems to always put on five-star matches with even below-par wrestlers, Styles' real-life background as a tough 'Southern' boy who grew up in a poor family from Gainesville, Georgia, just seems to make fans love him even more.

This background is mentioned throughout his theme song with lines such as 'kittens of the South, never have nothing' and 'ain't nobody breaking this redneck'.

The lyrics help us understand that the life story of "The Phenomenal One" is playing a part in his wrestling career. Just like when AJ and his family had to truly earn everything with his grit and determination back as a young boy, he has to do the same now in order to win matches, titles and respect in the WWE. I couldn't imagine any other theme song being as perfect as the 'Phenomenal' song for AJ Styles' WWE character.

2. Braun Strowman's theme: I Am Stronger (by CFO$)

Braun Strowman is 'The Monster' his theme song makes him out to be.

When The WWE Universe hears that big roar accompanied by music during Monday Night Raw, they know that Braun Strowman and his brutal ways are on their way to the ring.

For the past year now, WWE has billed Strowman as an indestructible force (let's forget about his match at No Mercy), they have built him as someone who is not human, but as someone who is actually a Monster ('The Monster Among Men').

What better way for us to be reminded of Strowman being an inhuman monster than for the sound of him shouting 'ROAR' at the beginning of his theme song? It has told more of a story than any lyrics could about Braun, and that in itself is incredible.

Now to the next Superstar, because 'I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU !!'.

1.Shinsuke Nakamura's theme: The Rising Sun (by CFO$).

Nakamura's entrance has captured the hearts, minds and mouths of the WWE Universe.

Shinsuke Nakamura is known as the 'King of Strong Style', and his theme song embodies this nickname. Shinsuke Nakamura is such a charismatic and intriguing figure, who reminds fans of a mixture between popstars Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury. When Nakamura performs to the top of his level in the ring, he can bring emotion out of even the most casual wrestling fans.

Funnily enough, his entrance song seems to do the exact same thing, with the lyricless music an absolute thing of beauty. The song consists of violin playing a brilliant tune, and if you don't want to take my word for it, listen to the fans humming the tune every single time the guy comes out to the ring on SmackDown Live. If you have never seen him walk to the ring with 'The Rising Sun' song, you have not lived.

I definitely feel like Nakamura's entrance has saved him on the main roster since his debut back in April because he has been booked very poorly by the WWE creative team so far. When WWE finally get it right with Shinsuke creatively, he will then be actually able to do his entrance justice, because that is the only thing keeping him over with fans at the moment.
