#4. The Shield’s reunion never worked since Rollins broke it in 2014

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose debuted on the main roster in 2012 and in a span of 2 years, the group became one of the most dominated tag teams of all time. However, the biggest shock to the WWE Universe came when Rollins broke the group to side with Triple H in June 2014.

Since then, every member of this group has managed to become a top singles Superstar and after 3 years, in 2017, the WWE reunited the three again. However, I don’t have to tell you that it didn’t work. Firstly, Reigns got ill and missed his TLC match and then, Ambrose got injured.

After some months, The Lunatic Fringe returned but again, the reunion didn’t work as Reigns was busy feuding with Lesnar. After his sad announcement on October 2018, Ambrose broke The Shield yet again.

After two underwhelming attempts, I feel that the WWE would certainly not be considering to reunite them again, at least for now.
