5 Shocking WWE decisions that could take Monday Night Raw by storm tonight

With WrestleMania 35 now just six days away, WWE will be waltzing back to our screens for one final episode of Monday Night Raw before the biggest event of the year. The red brand will be live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC and will leave no stone unturned in throwing the spotlight on feuds that we are genuinely excited about.

Although the narrative transpiring on SmackDown Live has garnered a lot of accolades from legions in the WWE Universe, Vince McMahon will certainly keep Ronda Rousey's much-anticipated tussle with Becky Lynch and Charlotte as the main focus going into the visual extravaganza.

Since this will be the last ride before WrestleMania 35, significant spotlight will be showered upon Drew McIntyre's current rivalry with none other than The Big Dog, Roman Reigns.

Whilst one can't deny that this match looks excellent on paper, giving it a more marquee treatment than Seth Rollins' clash with Brock Lesnar feels a tad disappointing.

The Architect ran riot on Monday Night Raw for most part of 2017 and 2018, but the fans are not thoroughly invested in the storyline that has been presented up until now.

Furthermore, Batista will be making his scintillating return on the flagship show and could certainly get involved in a huge brawl with Triple H before they collide for good in New Jersey.

With so much at stake tonight, will Vince McMahon present a more shocking end to The Road to WrestleMania 35? Let's find out.

Here are the 5 shocking decisions WWE could make to take Monday Night Raw by storm.

#1 Vince McMahon reveals The Undertaker will return to address his future at WrestleMania 35

Will this happen?

As much as I hate to break it, WWE have a strong history of spoiling surprises at the very last moment. It's undeniable that there can be no WrestleMania without The Undertaker. The Demon of Death Valley remains an integral part of the company's legacy and his sky-rocketing stock demands him to be a part of this year's visual extravaganza.

Regardless of the fact that many reports have denied The Phenom having a match at 'Mania, one cannot deny that he will be there in some capacity or form. Considering that this year's card already looks so stacked, announcing the Undertaker's return at the very last moment could be incredible enough to get the casual fans enticed.

Furthermore, the former World Champion is currently locked in to participate at the Saudi Arabia show in May which only makes his return at WrestleMania even more likely now.

#2 Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair join hands to annihilate Becky Lynch as WWE announces a ''Winner takes all'' stipulation

Time for business to pick up

This year's WrestleMania will see three of the most prolific female performers in the industry close the biggest event of the year in front of an average capacity of 80,000 WWE fans.

Although the company has failed in retaining the intrigue in this feud, Charlotte's shocking victory over Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship has grabbed headlines all over the wrestling world.

Since this blockbuster rivalry will take the center-stage on Monday Night Raw, the creative team need to be efficient here and present Becky Lynch as the underdog going into the main event of WrestleMania.

One cannot deny that the company has over-exaggerated the entire situation by putting more focus on Becky's knee injury and one shouldn't be surprised if something on the same lines happens tonight.

Legions in the WWE Universe are expecting a solid 'Winner takes all' stipulation to be announced tonight. Moreover, the company is advertising a six-woman tag-team match for tonight and since three of them are going to be WrestleMania main-eventers, we all know how this will end.

With Ronda Rousey and Charlotte both receiving nuclear heat in this slug-fight, both of them joining hands to inflict unbearable harm to Becky Lynch would be compelling enough to keep the crowd excited for this Sunday.

#3 Aleister Black and Ricochet win the Raw Tag-Team Championships and challenge The Usos for a title unification at WrestleMania 35

This needs to happen

While I may become an unfortunate recipient of your harsh criticism here, I have to admit that the value of tag-team wrestling in WWE is gradually diminishing. Like climate change, this too has a solution. The Revival's run as the Raw Tag-Team Champions has been nowhere close to their work under Triple H's supervision.

Since Vince McMahon is not clearly in touch with what's transpiring down in NXT, a genuine way to rejuvenate the tag-team division here would be to align both the Championship belts on the red and blue brand.

Moreover, giving the spotlight to Aleister Black and Ricochet here is necessary. As much as I love The Revival, I wouldn't want them to lose the gold at the biggest event of the year in disappointing fashion.

With Ricochet and Aleister Black winning in their offensive high-flying style, they could go on to challenge The Usos for a show-stopping match at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

#4 Dean Ambrose is announced as the Special Guest Referee for Roman Reigns Vs. Drew McIntyre

Will this end right?

There's no denying that Dean Ambrose's credibility as a main-event performer has been tarnished with his recent losses to Drew Mcintyre. Despite the fact that his heel turn will go down in history as one of the greatest turns ever, Ambrose's frustrations with his creative direction has coerced him to reconsider his future in the WWE.

Considering that Drew McIntyre will be heading into a fight with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35, adding Dean Ambrose as the Special Guest Referee here would keep the intrigue alive.

While many would claim this to be a wrong move for Ambrose, there's a significant chance that The Lunatic Fringe could turn on Roman Reigns at the event and help McIntyre get the victory.

Legions in the WWE Universe want The Scottish Terminator to dismantle The Roman Empire and with Ambrose assigned as the special referee, his heel turn could really alter the complexion of Monday Night Raw forever.

#5 Brock Lesnar savagely targets Seth Rollins' knee and sends him out on a stretcher

Will Rollins lose momentum tonight?
Ad

I have said this a thousand times and I will say it again - Seth Rollins deserves better. The Architect has been one of the most trusted performers in the entire business and has been able to build a reputation for himself as the last territorial wrestler.

While he did storm out of the Royal Rumble with unparalleled momentum, the creative team have not brought enough juice to the table to keep the fans rejuvenated with this one.

It's understandable that feuds that have Brock Lesnar as the main antagonist does follow the same route where a white meat babyface promises to take the belt off a part-time Champion. Since these two have the ability to go to WrestleMania and steal the whole damn show, things really need to get riveting tonight.

A brawl between the two could be compelling, but The Beast Incarnate literally destroying Seth Rollins like he did to Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016 could be clinical enough in giving the fans a final preview before it all goes down at the biggest event of the year.
