5 Surprises that could happen at AEW Revolution- Former WWE star debuts, Major title change

All Elite Wrestling has come a long way in, honestly, what has been a very short span of time. I think it would not be unfair to call them the second biggest wrestling promotion in the world as of now.

Their next big show, AEW Revolution will come to us this weekend and we at Sportskeeda will bring you all the action as it unfolds with live coverage. From the arrival of Moxley to the debut of Santana and Ortiz, AEW always makes it a point to pack their pay-per-views with surprises galore and this one shouldn't be any different.

Be sure to leave a comment and let me know how excited you are about the upcoming show. Do you think that AEW Dynamite is a more exciting show these days than RAW and SmackDown are?

In any case, without wasting any more of your precious time, let me dive straight into the thick of things with this list.

#5 Brodie Lee's debut

You may know him as Luke Harper from his stint in WWE, as a part of The Wyatt Family and The Bludgeon Brothers. He was recently released from the company, and one does not need to think too hard to realize where he could be headed next. Jon Moxley vs. Luke Harper would be a contest for the ages and it does seem very likely that AEW will be the new home for Brodie Lee.

So, whether he joins The Inner Circle or just attacks Jon Moxley shortly after he either wins or loses the AEW Championship remains to be seen. But don't be very surprised if you see Lee in All Elite Wrestling as a part of the roster very soon indeed. And let's hope this run pans out significantly better than his WWE run did.

#4 Jon Moxley becomes the AEW World Champion

Chris Jericho always does what is necessary to advance the business and so, if it's time to drop the Championship, he will do so. Jon Moxley could be a great face for the franchise going forward because this is a man who is already a worldwide name thanks to the fact that he was part of arguably the greatest WWE faction in the company's history yet.

This huge title change will be a big deal because it will shift the landscape of the company entirely, and instead of babyfaces challenging for the title, now heels will be able to step up to the plate and go toe-to-toe with someone like Moxley. So in the future, we can potentially see a feud between Jon Moxley and MJF or even Jon Moxley and PAC.

Chris Jericho has been the big mainstream name who put All Elite Wrestling on the map; Jon Moxley could be the name who takes it to the next level once he becomes the AEW Champion.

#3 Arn Anderson turns on Cody Rhodes as well

The best heel turn in All Elite Wrestling's history happened when Cody Rhodes was betrayed by his best friend MJF, to the dismay of the crowd. And from it began the greatest feud that AEW has seen thus far, between Cody Rhodes, the former mentor, and MJF, a man who looked up to Rhodes, but believes he has surpassed him by now.

And so, we could see everyone who is close to Cody Rhodes turn on him in due course of time. He could be like the last man standing on the hilltop of good, taking on all comers for the sanctity and the virtue that is AEW.

What I'm trying to say is that Arn Anderson, Cody's own mentor could turn on him during the match against MJF leading to MJF being able to pick up a shocking win and Cody Rhodes being protected, even in defeat. And then, after some time, even his own brother Dustin Rhodes could turn on Cody, leading to a repeat of the match that put AEW on the map.

#2 Orange Cassidy scores an upset victory over PAC

Let me put this in perspective for you guys. PAC is someone who went up against Kenny Omega in an Iron Man match that could have gone either way and almost picked up a win in the closing moments of the match before the timer eventually ran out. And now, he goes up against Orange Cassidy, a man who has, at best, been presented as a comedy character on TV.

The thing that works for Cassidy is just how popular he is with fans of All Elite Wrestling and it is for this very reason that I do believe that he will score an upset victory over PAC during the said match. Of course, it would count as a surprise because Cassidy's assault so far has been underwhelming, from whatever we have seen. His kicks do connect but they are not delivered with any intensity at all, and that is putting it mildly.

I really do hope that PAC can recover from a loss if this is the route AEW goes.

#1 Hangman Page turns on Kenny Omega

I don't really know if this will be a real surprise as such, because, from the looks of it, AEW has been building to this huge feud. When Kenny Omega and Hangman Page take on The Young Bucks, there is guaranteed to be miscommunication between the AEW Tag Team Champions, leading to a major title switch.

And then, when the Champions are in the middle of the ring, now without the AEW Tag Team Championships, I have a feeling that Hangman Page will finally turn completely heel and attack Kenny Omega. This could kickstart a feud that lasts for many months at a stretch and lead to some very exciting matches.

The Tag Team Division will be in very safe hands when The Young Bucks are the Champions of the world. They could work against teams like The Dark Order and The Butcher & The Blade, and in turn, elevate them as well.

So, this heel turn could be a good thing to also establish Omega as the company's top babyface.
