5 Surprises that could happen on RAW next week- Will The Shield reunite?

After weeks of shows that ranged from average to good, last week WWE delivered an episode where they hit the ball out of the park.

This was, in part, due to Roman Reigns' return. It was also because of the Ronda Rousey situation and the Batista segment. WWE needs to carry the momentum forward this week.

And the only way to do so would be with a few surprises. Surprises that become points of discussion for the WWE Universe. Surprises that the WWE Universe can potentially sink their teeth into.

Let me suggest a few of them in this article. And then, you can always let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.

There's no guarantee that any of them will actually happen on the show, but if it does, then the show will become incredibly memorable.

#5 Black and Ricochet become RAW Tag Team Champions

Yes, The Revival are the RAW Tag Team Champions at the moment. But have they been booked as Champions should be, ever since then? It almost feels like they were made champions so that they could do the job on camera for weeks on end.

On the other hand, the team that has a lot of momentum consists of Ricochet and Aleister Black.

While they had little experience as a tag team unit before this, they proved that they could not only hang but impress when put on the big stage. So much so, that WWE has been pushing them on both RAW and SmackDown Live.

Based on the fact that Black and Ricochet scored a victory over The Revival on last week's show, they could certainly get a title shot this week. And if they do, they could potentially go over as well.

#4 Ambrose joins The Shield, turns on his brothers

It does seem like Dean Ambrose has turned over a new leaf, does it not? He urged Seth Rollins to slay the beast not long ago and even went on to tease a babyface turn when he asked Rollins why he didn't come to his aid when he was in peril. So last week, after Reigns' return, a Shield reunion was teased again.

Let's just assume for a minute that Ambrose agrees to join The Shield and the trio even has a match on RAW where they go on to defeat their opponents. But then, shortly after the match, he lays Roman Reigns out. This could be the premise for an Ambrose vs. Reigns match at WrestleMania.

Ambrose and Reigns have, of course, faced one another in the past. But there's never been a full-fledged war between the two men on a stage like WrestleMania.

#3 The Shield names a massive replacement as the third member

There's literally nothing for Braun Strowman to do in the roster right now. He's been waging a war against Baron Corbin but even that seems to have run its course because The Shield is facing the heel trio next.

Let's assume for a moment that Ambrose is not too keen on joining the Shield or indeed, turns on the Shield as mentioned in the page before this. The Shield will be a member short and they could choose a monster to join their ranks.

Having Braun Strowman as a member of The Shield would actually work in his favour because it would make him a serious character and not have him be booked in the goofy segments that he always seems to be relegated to. It would be a genuine surprise and get people talking.

And there's nothing else Strowman can do as a babyface right now.

#2 A battle royal takes place to determine the fate of the RAW Women's Championship, Charlotte Flair wins

Last week, Ronda Rousey demanded that Becky Lynch be inserted into the RAW Women's Championship match once again. Of course, Stephanie McMahon would not relent and this angered the rowdy one who left her Championship in the middle of the ring. So, basically, this means that there is no RAW Women's Champion at this particular moment.

What if Stephanie McMahon announces a battle royal to crown the next champion? To nobody's surprise at all Charlotte Flair wins the big one and gets crowned RAW Women's Champion! And she carries the title all the way till WrestleMania.

This would turn the whole program on its head and insert Flair as a major player. As it stands right now, Charlotte Flair feels like an afterthought in the battle between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

#1 Becky Lynch attacks Charlotte Flair after she becomes Champion, Flair demands she be added into the match

Becky Lynch doesn't care about going to jail over and over again. The second reincarnation of Stone Cold Steve Austin would rather go to prison than be left out of the WrestleMania festivities.

So, let's assume that Charlotte Flair does become RAW Women's Champion. She's either awarded the belt or the situation I've mapped out on the previous page plays out.

And when she's celebrating, Becky Lynch comes in and lays her out on the mat, attacking from behind. This angers Charlotte Flair who says she wants Becky Lynch at WrestleMania this year. Stephanie McMahon has no other choice than to relent and add Becky Lynch to the match at 'Mania.

And in this way, the triple threat match at WrestleMania could be booked. What do you think of this booking situation?

Can you suggest some other surprises for RAW too?
