5 Things that prove Vince McMahon still knows what's best for business

Does Vince McMahon still know what's best for business? While most of the WWE Universe will have you believe he doesn't and needs to be ousted from power, his decision making over the past couple of months seem to prove otherwise. In fact, it seems to prove that McMahon is in tune with the WWE Universe and knows what they want.

Of course, that doesn't mean he gets it right every time or won't pass up on someone that should have been a star once or twice, but no one said he was perfect. What we are trying to say however is that his winnings far exceed his shortcomings, which should be proof that WWE is in good hands with McMahon at the helm.

With that being said, and fans continuing to complain that McMahon is out of touch when it comes to what is best for business, here are five things that prove McMahon knows what's best for business. #5 Wanting to do a women's match in Saudi Arabia

Vince McMahon wanted to do a first ever women's match in Saudi Arabia.

Let's be honest here. Whether its all about the buzz the occasion who would generate the WWE or about truly revolutionizing women's wrestling forever, Vince McMahon wanting women to compete in Saudi Arabia is a great thing! Beyond that, it's something that shows just how progressive the chairman of the board is and how in tune with politics he is as well.

Sure, maybe there are better match-ups WWE could have done instead of Natalya versus Alexa Bliss, but it would still have been a big step in the women's revolution. It would also hopefully open the door to women being able to compete more often in Saudi Arabia, which would be another huge step!

If nothing else, the women's revolution has been one of the main selling points for WWE over the last couple of years and that's the way it should be! With that being said, and the company slowly running out of ways to make waves in the women's division, competing in Saudi Arabia is a crucial next step in the revolution.

#4 Use of fighting champions

Vince McMahon is doing some pretty masterful storytelling with Seth Rollins.

The WWE Universe has wanted a fighting champion for a long time now and WWE finally responded to that request by having Seth Rollins defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. Not only did this give fans a full-time fighting champion and a few dream matches along the way, but it also removed Lesnar from the title picture due to the no automatic rematch clause.

Of course, Lesnar got his revenge at Money in the Bank by winning the briefcase, but at least he is no longer holding a title hostage. Beyond that, WWE's use of Lesnar as a champion stalking prizefighter is a great development in The Beast's character and should lead to some interesting scenarios in the future.

In all honesty, Seth Rollins has been booked perfectly as a fighting champion so far and the WWE Universe seems to be responding very positively to it. Maybe Seth Rollins' run as champion won't last much longer, and maybe it could, but one has to admit that McMahon is at least trying to take constructive criticism and do something with it!

#3 Taking the SmackDown Women's title off Lynch

Vince McMahon put an end to Becky two belts relatively quickly.

Becky Lynch lost the SmackDown Women's title at Money in The Bank and while some found the move surprising, the decision stood as a shining example of Vince McMahon being in touch with reality. In fact, McMahon's decision to take the title off of Lynch is a great example of him knowing what's best for business and proof that he knows how much is too much.

With that being said, the move also allows for a big shakeup in the SmackDown Live Women's title picture and will afford many of the women there a chance to prove themselves. Interestingly enough, however, the move also gave Lynch a lighter schedule, which is great for her long term health.

In the end, Becky Lynch holding both belts was great while it lasted, but it also wasn't something that was going to work long term. With that in mind, it's great that Vince McMahon was able to have that kind of foresight on the matter and this move alone should give fans a lot of hope for the future of the company.

#2 Making dream matches come true

Vince McMahon pulled the trigger on the AJ Styles versus Seth Rollins dream match!

WWE has been doing a lot of dream matches lately and while the company has done so in the past, it is nowhere near how much the company seems to be doing it now. In fact, between AJ Styles versus Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank and The Undertaker versus Goldberg at Super ShowDown, the company is seemingly doing everything they can to re-energize the WWE Universe.

Of course, it's not always going to work and some dream matches are going to fail due to not living up to expectations, but at least its nice to see McMahon digging into his bag of tricks in order to generate interest in the product. Beyond that, the kind of matches he has set in motion so far only sets the stage for even better ones in the future.

Think about it! Everything from Becky Lynch versus Stephanie McMahon to Triple H versus Finn Balor is on the table at this point and that's not even including the legends WWE could bring back. Speaking of legends, WWE could do John Cena versus Hulk Hogan, Goldberg versus Roman Reigns and Undertaker versus Finn Balor if they really want to go all in on this dream match deal!

#1 Wanting to go back to the Attitude Era

Vince McMahon will destroy AEW if he brings back The Attitude era.

The Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era that followed shortly after it was one of those special times in pro wrestling where anything could happen. Beyond that, it was that one time in WWE's existence that they seemed willing to push the envelope week after week in order to keep things interesting.

In all honesty, their edgy content with the female Superstars and how personal they made some of their storylines is only more of a reason why this is a great idea for WWE. Sure, it might not please a sponsor or two as time goes on, but with the big payday after Super ShowDown and their big deal with Fox Sports, that's not going to matter much.

In the end, this is going to be one of the greatest things WWE has ever done and Vince McMahon signing off on the idea is pretty much proof positive that he still knows what is best for business. Furthermore, it shows that WWE is willing to change in order to make the product more fun, which should be a positive sign for fans.
