Two Vikings, one heart

These lovebirds have found a way to make things work, even with the difficulties that come with being a WWE Superstar.

Life as a professional wrestler is a fascinating experience that most of us will never fully understand, nor will we ever be able to comprehend the sacrifices those men and women make, all for the sake of living a dream and entertaining the rest of us.

Regardless of the stigma which some "outsiders" try to place on the industry, professional wrestlers are indeed highly skilled athletes and what they do, is something that takes years of intense training to be able to call themselves sports entertainers.

One of the biggest sacrifices that these talented individuals have to make is the insane amount of time they spend away from home. The numbers are all over the place, but I have heard some wrestlers say they are on the road anywhere from 200-to-300 days per year.

Being on the road for that amount of time would leave all but no chance at all at having a normal life. These guys become close friends with their fellow wrestlers and some become more than just close friends.

There have been many wrestlers who have had serious relationships with other wrestlers. In fact, quite a few have gone as far as tying the knot and having children. The Miz and Maryse, along with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, are just two examples of popular names within the industry who have started a family together.

But there are a few within the company who have sparked up a relationship with a fellow WWE Superstar, but due to the fact that they are not really as much of a marquee name as Triple H, many fans simply never knew anything about their personal life.

Today we will take a closer look at 5 current WWE Superstars who are in a serious relationship with another Superstar. See just how many of these relationships you were aware of!

#5 Finn Balor and Cathy Kelley

For the most part, these two lovebirds have kept their relationship fairly private. In fact, some have gone as far as to say there's really nothing there, or that Finn Balor and Cathy Kelley were simply "good friends." However, former WWE Superstar X-Pac went on record to say that they were definitely more than just friends. There is not too much known about the depth or the seriousness of their relationship, thanks to how well they have kept things quiet.

For those who are not too familiar with Cathy, she is a well-known television personality from the Chicago suburb known as Oak Park. Cathy is currently assigned as a backstage correspondent for NXT, as well as being responsible for contributing content for WWE's social media accounts, the company website and the WWE YouTube channel as well.

#4 Bianca Belair and Montez Ford

Two of NXT's most exciting stars

Montez Ford and Bianca Belair have been very open about their relationship ever since the couple announced their engagement via social media back in the summer of 2017. The dynamic duo officially tied the knot at an extravagant ceremony on June 3, 2018.

As we know, Montez is one-half of the high-energy NXT tag team known as the Street Profits. Bianca has also had her fair share of success in a short amount of time since signing with the company.

It was actually 'The Worlds Strongest Man' Mark Henry who first noticed Bianca though her profile in the CrossFit Circuit. Mark then reached out to Bianca and got the young athlete a tryout. After a tremendous showing at the Mae Young Classic, Belair pretty much sealed her fate as a future WWE Superstar.

As it stands now, the future is very bright for both of these newlyweds. While Montez continues to build a strong following for the Street Profits, Bianca has already inched her way up the ladder and has become one of the top women's title contenders in NXT!

#3 Tommaso Ciampa and Jessie Ward

Opposites DO attract!

The tale of Tommaso Ciampa and Jessie Ward is a very interesting story of how two people who were far apart grew to realize that their fairytale love story was actually closer than they ever imagined.

Tommaso Ciampa is the true definition of what a pro wrestling badass really is. On the other hand, his significant other represents the polar opposite as she is as quiet and frail as could possibly be. Oddly enough, Jessie and Tommaso were introduced through a mutual friend, Samoa Joe.

For those who are unaware, Jessie was a contestant on season two of the hit reality show Tough Enough. She was the ultimate underdog that you either loved or you simply despised and wanted to be exiled as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Jessie would suffer a neurological setback after taking some rough bumps in the ring. This would result in her dropping out of the competition.

Soon after leaving Tough Enough, Jessie was offered a backstage position with the company, where she would get the opportunity to travel with both RAW and Smackdown full-time. After roughly two years with WWE, Jessie would walk away from the business and finish getting her degree.

Tommaso and Jessie were married in September of 2013 and have been together happily ever since.

#2 Sasha Banks and Sarath Ton

WWE's discreet couple

Sasha Banks is known as "The Boss" by the WWE Universe. That moniker was given to her largely because of her charisma. Sasha has excelled beyond all expectations in regards to what most critics expect from such a young star with relatively minimal experience at the time she signed with the company.

Several years ago Sasha met the man who would one day become her husband. Sarath Ton is a former professional wrestler-turned costume designer due to a career-compromising injury. As the couple grew closer, they both decided to make a collective effort to keep their relationship private. However, it didn't take long before the WWE Universe discovered just who The Boss had been spending time with.

Sarath and Sasha officially became husband and wife during their private nuptial ceremony on August 4, 2016. Sasha has mentioned before how much she enjoys having her other half on the road with her. Let's hope both of these lovebirds continue to impress Mr. McMahon.

#1 Sarah Logan and Ray Rowe

A ceremony fit for a Viking
Ad

Coming in at number one, this WWE couple took the cake... literally, with this incredible Viking themed wedding. Surrounded by family, friends and fellow WWE Superstars, Ray Rowe and Sarah Logan exchanged vows on this chilly December day. Both Sarah and Ray have always embraced their Viking lineage and are both big into the entire culture. That's what made this special type of nuptial service absolutely perfect.

Sarah's fellow Riott Squad members were in attendance, as was Ray's NXT Tag Team Champion partner, fellow War Raider Hanson. Several other Superstars from NXT and WWE's main roster were also in attendance, showing support for these two unique Stars.

This story is one of those "feel good" love stories that one cannot help but root for. Not only because Ray and Sarah are extremely kind souls, but also because of the difficult road they both traveled to even make it to the WWE
