5 WWE Superstars who are super-nice in real life

As a WWE wrestler, it's your job to look tough, grizzled and all-in-all, not a very pleasant person to meet.

Look at stars like The Undertaker for example, who has spent the past nearly 30 years looking as menacing as possible, both inside as well as outside the ring.

Whether he was a morbid mortician throughout his early years, a Lord of Darkness during 1999, a cool biker in 2003, or the historic legend he is today, the Deadman has always been a truly scary sight to behold. Over the years, countless fans and Superstars have witnessed him digging holes and taking souls.

But in reality, many wrestlers, including the Phenom of the WWE himself, are actually very sweet people, who are always willing to give that extra bit to their fans.

Here are five wrestlers, both past and present, who are actually super-nice in real life.

#5. Molly Holly

Molly Holly is one of the most overlooked women of her time

A woman who doesn't get nearly enough credit, Molly Holly is a two-time women's champion, and even gave her hair to the industry, famously being shaved bald at WrestleMania 20.

But since leaving the squared circle, Holly has given a lot more than just some follicles, with Holly citing her born-again Christian faith as part of her giving nature.

Releasing an autobiographical DVD in 2005, parts of the profits were donated to fund the education of the daughter of Crash Holly, her on-screen brother who sadly passed in 2003.

In December 2006, Holly moved to Guatemala and learned Spanish to help those less fortunate there, a clear act of selflessness.

It was whilst she was working as a teen counsellor, that Holly met her future-husband Geno Benshoff, who she married in 2010.

Even to this day, Holly gives back to the industry, being the female head coach of the 'Academy: School of Professional Wrestling' in Minnesota.

#4. Braun Strowman

One of WWE's most-pushed Superstars in recent years, Braun Strowman has exploded in popularity since debuting as part of the Wyatt family in 2015.

Going solo in 2016, Strowman has quickly become beloved by the WWE Universe, and out of the ring, maybe loved even more.

Real name Adam Scherr, Strowman is apparently one of the nicest guys backstage in WWE, even attending Chris Jericho's massive New Year's Eve party.

To make things better for the Monster Among Men, the WWE is quite high-up on his interaction skills, as Strowman has consistently been professional when meeting fans, whether at an organized event or at a public place like an airport.

In particular, Strowman shows great respect to the younger fans, who will go on to be the die-hard WWE fans of the future.

Strowman isn't even the only 'monster' to appear on this list, but we'll get to 'him' later...

#3. Roman Reigns:

Fans may cheer him or boo him, but when Roman Reigns came out about his leukemia diagnosis earlier this year, the stories quickly followed.

According to many sources, Reigns is one of the nicest Superstars backstage in WWE, and despite his massive push in recent years, hasn't let the spotlight go to his head.

Consistently donating to charity, Roman has spoken in interviews about the fun adventures he has been in with stars like The Usos and Chris Jericho, with the Big Dog having plenty of fun with the more established stars.

In fact, the only negative event backstage involving the former Universal Champion seems to be when he kicked Enzo Amore off the WWE's bus, though according to sources, the Certified-G brought that upon himself.

Working alongside Make-A-Wish as well, Roman has proven himself to be a truly nice guy, and we hope The Guy makes his way back to the ring soon.

#2. Diamond Dallas Page

The amount DDP has done to help people is hard to compare

When DDP was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017, it was a long time coming.

Page had been a 3-time WCW World Champion, before having some success in WWE when he joined in 2001.

But it is the Master of the Diamond Cutter's work outside the ring, that led to so many fans wanting to see Page get the Hall of fame nod.

After dealing with an injured back, Page turned to yoga to help, and after feeling the success of it, formed DDP Yoga, helping many who struggled for years to move again.

Page has also opened his doors to former WWE Superstars who had fallen on hard times, such as Scott Hall and Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, helping both men turn their lives around, in a truly selfless act by the positive one.

Even now, DDP Yoga is helping millions, thanks to Page.

#1. Kane:

The Devil's favourite Demon is also the mayor of Knox County

On TV, Kane is a literal demon, able to control fire, and never being afraid to drag souls into the depths of hell.

But in real life, Glenn 'Kane' Jacobs may be one of WWE's most giving stars, with his actions in recent years proving just that.

One such act of goodness from the Devil's favourite demon was when he made an appearance at an elementary school teaching the children about 'the Kindness Revolution', and encouraged all the kids to pass on the message of kindness and tolerance throughout their day.

Not just willing to help out one class, Jacobs entered politics earlier this year, winning the position of Mayor of Knox County, Tennesee, representing the Republican party.

Now in a position to make County-sized changes to the area, Jacobs has already begun trying to make Knox County a better place for all its citizens and a demon-free zone.
