AEW Dynamite Results: Former WWE Superstars debut, Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho involved in epic brawl
The episode of AEW Dynamite after Double or Nothing kicked off with a tag team match between Private Party & Joey Janela and The Young Bucks & Matt Hardy.
Joey Janela & Private Party vs. The Young Bucks & Matt Hardy
The Young Bucks kicked off the match in dominant fashion as Joey Janela was on the back foot on AEW Dynamite.
The match was short but not short on the action as it was fast-paced with many big moves. Matt Hardy was the MVP of the match as he executed an insane moonsault on all three opponents, which was easily the biggest highlight of the match on AEW Dynamite.
The Young Bucks and Matt Hardy picked up the win at the end of the fun contest on AEW Dynamite.

Butcher and Blade attacked The Young Bucks after the match. A truck pulled up and out came Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, FKA Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder from their time in the WWE. The Revival was officially in AEW but they were now known as FTR!
FTR looked down upon The Young Bucks, however, the former WWE Superstars turned around and attacked Butcher and Blade.
So, does this mean FTR are babyfaces? Was this a statement to The Young Bucks? Next's week's episode of AEW Dynamite just got a must-watch segment!
Fresh off his successful AEW World title defence against Brodie Lee at Double or Nothing, Jon Moxley came out and joined the commentary team on AEW Dynamite. He was here to get a closer look at Brian Cage - the newest addition to the AEW roster - in action
Brian Cage vs. Lee Johnson
Brian Cage didn't waste any time as he ambushed Lee Johnson. He pummeled his powerless opponent with acrobatic kicks in the corner followed by the German Suplex.
Cage rocked Johnson with a powerbomb. He wasn't done though. He sent Johnson crashing into the corner again with a massive Buckel Bomb. Brian Cage wrapped things up with the Drill Claw to end the match on AEW Dynamite.
Result: Brian Cage def. Lee Johnson
Taz entered the ring after the match and cut a promo in which he hyped up the AEW World title match between Mox and Cage for Fyter Fest.
Tazz warned Moxley that Cage will decimate the Champ at Fyter Fest. Moxley stood up and took notice of his challenger as the segment came to an end on AEW Dynamite.
Tony Schiavone hosted The Rules of Being a Role Model' and he was joined by Britt Baker, who was rolled out in a wheelchair.
Baker wasn't pleased with Schiavone's energy and she took over the proceedings. She revealed the third rule of being a role model - Don't hurt the role model!
Baker revealed that she suffered a broken tibia before explaining that there is an elaborate plan to get her injured and she went on to reveal the conspirators.
Dr. Britt Baker had a bulletin board with photos that linked the conspiracy all together!
According to the Role Model, Aubrey Edwards was pulling the strings as the referee has been there whenever she has suffered an injury.
Baker ended the segment by declaring she will return at All Out, which will happen on September 5th.
The Inner Circle, led by Chris Jericho, were all together in a backstage interview with Alex Marvez. Chris Jericho began to cut a promo but Orange Cassidy casually strolled past them and the segment came to an abrupt end as Jericho took offense to the interruption.
Hikaru Shida vs. Christie Jaynes
The new AEW Women's Champion was up next in action against newcomer Christie Jaynes.
Jaynes got the better of the champ in the early exchanges. She danced around and showboated for a while until Hikaru Shida grabbed her by the hair.
Shida stunned Jaynes with a running knee strike in the corner. The Champion assumed control of the match as she wore down Jaynes' back.
Shida went up to the top rope but Jaynes blasted the champ with a step-up Enziguri. Jaynes got a two-fall with a sunset-flip followed by a kick. She attempted a Lionsault but missed and Shida rallied to get in a few strikes.
Shida delivered the Falcon Arrow and got the three-count.

Hangman Page and Kenny Omega were enjoying watching TV on their couch but they seemed annoyed by the camera that was placed in the corner.
Page shoved his face into the camera and they both exchanged a few words which weren't audible as the audio was muted. Omega poured himself another glass of milk as Page ribbed him for it as he continued sipping on his beer.
A highlight package of Cody's TNT Championship win from Double or Nothing aired.
Cody's announces weekly open challenge
Cody was out with Arn Anderson with the brand new TNT Championship. Double A went to the back as Cody made his way to the ring.
Tony Schiavone congratulated Cody on his TNT Championship victory and asked him a question about the moment. Cody took the mic and went on to cut an exceptional promo.
He compared himself to Tom Brady as a guy who wasn't the first pick, or even the second pick. He worked hard since the age of 21 to get to where he was and people who call his story one of nepotism need to stand up and take notice of his work ethic.
Cody announced that he will take up the most rigorous schedule in wrestling - he will show up every week and issue an open challenge for the TNT title.
He said that it was his obligation to give the fans nothing but the best during the pandemic era of professional wrestling. It was a solid promo as always from Cody.
Kip Sabian & Jimmy Havoc (w/ Penelope Ford) vs. SCU
Sabian and Jimmy looked to get the early advantage as they ambushed their opponents.
Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian took control of the proceedings and began to work on Sabian. Kazarian took out Sabian with a leg lariat for a two-count. Sabian created some separation with a jawbreaker and he tagged in Havoc.
Kazarian held onto the advantage and Scorpio Sky got into the action. It was Jimmy Havoc's turn to absorb some punishment as SCU wore him down in tandem.
Havoc shifted the momentum of the match with hammer fists on Kazarian. Sabian got tagged in and he unleashed a series of stiff right hands.
Jimmy executed a dirty eye poke and got Kazarian down for a pinfall. Sabian came in and Kazarian tried to mount a fightback but he found himself in the wrong part of town again as Havoc was tagged in.
Havoc tried to bite a chunk off of Kazarian's face but Aubrey Edwards stopped him. Classic Jimmy Havoc on display. Frankie was in all kinds of trouble as Sabian connected with a big punt.
Kazarian was getting stomped down to bits by Sabian in the corner. He finally showed some signs of life as he made the hot tag to Scorpio Sky.
Sky went on a rampage as he took Havoc out before focussing on Sabian. He hit Kip with a twisted cutter and transitioned into a submission.
Havoc came into the picture and took Sky out with a Death Valley Driver. Sabian connected with a follow-up double stomp on a laid-out Sky for a near fall.
SCU got control again and Kazarian hit a cutter of his own on Havoc.
SCU had Havoc up for the finish but Penelope interfered and pulled Kazarian's leg. Havoc and Sabian took advantage of the distraction and hit Scorpio Sky with the Michinoku driver combo for the win.
Result: Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc def. SCU
Havoc and Sabian will take on Kenny Omega and Hangman Page on next week's episode of AEW Dynamite for the AEW Tag Team titles.
MJF was miffed that he hasn't received a title shot yet despite being undefeated for a year. He took a shot at WWE by alluding to the fact the 'guys who come from the other company' get pushed to the top soon.
MJF and Wardlow shared a tense moment before it was defused and they made their way out for the Battle Royal match.
Battle Royal - Winner challenges Cody for the TNT Championship
All the competitors entered the ring but Billy Gunn's music hit and the veteran, who was in the crowd, took off his T-shirt and inserted himself into the match. He looked surprised and his son was hyped too!
The match kicked off but Orange Cassidy's music hit. He was blindsided by Ortiz and Santana.
Luther was eliminated first by Luchasaurus. MJF used Wardlow as a human shield and Sonny Kiss managed to get dumped out of the match by Wardlow. MJF wasn't done with Kiss as he went outside the ring and attacked Kiss. Colt Cabana got eliminated next by Billy Gunn.
Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler brawled on the ring apron and they both got eliminated.
Wardlow was running riot but Marko Stunt put up a fight. Stunt eliminated Christopher Daniels.
Wardlow wasn't messing around either as he sent Stunt flying outside the ring, effectively eliminating him in the process.
Luchasaurus and Wardlow came face to face in the ring and they brawled. AEW's giant dinosaur then came up against Billy Gunn.
Wardlow and MJF worked together to eliminate Gunn and Luchasaurus.
Orange Cassidy had recovered from his pre-match assault and he finally entered the match. MJF went for a right but Cassidy ducked and he took Wardlow out.
Orange and Jungle Boy eliminated MJF and Wardlow before squaring up against each other as the final two competitors in the match.
A furious back-and-forth exchange ensued and in the end, Jungle Boy eliminated Orange Cassidy.
Result: Jungle Boy wins the Battle Royal and he will take on Cody for the TNT Championship on next's week's episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT
A highlight of the Stampede match aired before the main event segment of the evening.
The Inner Circle pep rally
Vickie Guerrero joined the cheerleaders and she welcomed everyone to the Inner Circle pep rally. The Inner Circle members made their way out as Vickie Guerrero introduced each one them in her own loud and enthusiastic way.
Chris Jericho said that it has been a tough time but like five sexy phoenixes, they will rise again. Le Champion had official Stadium Stampede merch for the 'fans' in the crowd.
Few of the shirts were thrown back into the ring and Jericho wasn't happy. Sammy settled things down and they carried on with the segment, in which they gave each other gifts.
Sammy Guevara said that they didn't win, but they participated. He handed them all trophies and Jericho received a "King of Dad jokes" trophy. They started handing out gifts to each other, including a discount pair of shoes for Jake Hager, a photo frame of Mark Anthony? It was getting outrageous!
Hager had a handwritten poem that went off the rails at the end but the Inner Circle members calmed him down.
Jericho kicked things up a notch and he declared that he wanted Mike Tyson's head on a platter. The former AEW Champion hadn't forgotten what Tyson did to him on a Monday night ten years ago.
Music hit and out came Mike Tyson flanked by many 'heavy hitters', which included stars from the MMA world in Henry Cejudo, Vitor Belfort, and Rashad Evans. Jericho demanded an apology but Tyson wasn't giving him anything as he ripped his shirt off and got into Le Champion's face.
Jericho shoved Tyson and all hell broke loose! The entire roster was in the ring as Tyson was pulled back by his crew.
The show went off the air with Jericho screaming insults at Tyson as he was held back by a large group. That was an intense finish!
Are we getting Chris Jericho vs. Mike Tyson? We'll have to wait for next week's episode of Dynamite to find out where this is all heading.
