AEW Fight for the Fallen - 5 Surprises that could happen: Former WWE star arrives as Nyla Rose's manager, Big heel turn

AEW has been on the losing end of the battle with NXT in recent times, but that could be set to change this week with Fight for the Fallen 2020. It is an event with a great cause attached to it, and we can see from the following Tweet that it is a show that is very close to the head honcho of AEW, Tony Khan's heart as well.

This event also features the big return of one Jon Moxley, whose match with Brian Cage had to be postponed as his wife, WWE presenter Renee Young tested positive for Covid-19. But AEW will want to fill up Fight for The Fallen with a bunch of surprises, in my personal opinion, so that All Elite Wrestling can tilt the balance with regard to the Wednesday Night Wars to their side.

So, with that said, here are 5 surprises that we can potentially see at AEW Fight for the Fallen.

#5 Vickie Guerrero returns to AEW as Nyla Rose's manager

We saw just how much more valuable Brian Cage seems in AEW, as compared to his Impact Wrestling run because he has Taz as his mouthpiece. And this is precisely why I believe that Nyla Rose needs a manager too, who can presumably take her to the next level. Of course, she herself stated that she was getting a brand new manager.

The one name that's been mentioned a whole bunch of times is none other than Vickie Guerrero, who would be a very interesting addition to the AEW Women's Division. One has to wonder if she will be the same outlandish personality that she was in WWE or if it means that she will be repackaged as a more serious character in AEW.

#4 FTR turns on The Young Bucks after their big AEW match

Just take a minute to think of just how lucky you are, as a wrestling fan in 2020, because you can see two of the best tag teams in the world mix it up in the AEW ring. Pentagon and Fenix will clash with FTR in what is guaranteed to be a clash of two styles, but if anyone can make it work, it will be these two tag teams.

And yet, as great as this match is, there is an even bigger match that AEW fans have wanted to see and it involves FTR taking on The Young Bucks to determine who the best tag team in the entire world is, at this moment in time. So, let's assume that FTR picks up the win and then, The Young Bucks come out to congratulate Dax and Cash, following their big victory. It is imperative that FTR turns heel so that there is heat going into this match because there won't be a crowd in attendance to chant 'this is awesome'.

#3 Darby Allin returns to AEW and goes straight for the TNT Championship

Darby Allin has been away from the ring for some time, but he has been a part of AEW television in a big way every week with some really crazy stunts. One thing that is for sure is that he is committed to proving to the world that he can go at the highest level, with some of the craziest vignettes we've seen on AEW television every week, proving that you can do a variety of things without a doctor's note.

This week Cody takes on Sonny Kiss for the AEW TNT Championship and with all due respect to the very talented wrestler, there is no chance that Cody Rhodes is letting go of the Championship at this point. I wonder if the match could end with Cody celebrating in the middle of the ring when Darby shows up for a massive rematch with a man that he has incredible chemistry with, for the following week's show.

Every AEW fan will be interested in this contest.

#2 Tessa Blanchard shows up to confront Shida at AEW Fight for the Fallen

Tessa Blanchard has to be the hottest free agent in the world right now, after her release from Impact Wrestling. There is a big chance that she could go to WWE where she could be a major player or she could come to AEW, where her father could certainly put in a good word or two for her. Yes, she has had a troubled past but as we've seen in the case of Sammy Guevara, AEW allows you to learn and grow from your mistakes.

Yes, WWE has lost Becky Lynch and they have also lost Ronda Rousey, while Charlotte Flair's date of return hasn't been disclosed at this point in time. But at the same time, AEW needs Tessa Blanchard a lot more, because their women's division is seriously in need of some top talent. And it doesn't get bigger than Tessa Blanchard in 2020.

Could Tessa Blanchard potentially show up and go straight for the AEW Women's Championship that Hikaru Shida currently holds?

#1 Mike Tyson returns to AEW to confront Chris Jericho

The biggest match in 2020, in AEW or otherwise could be between Mike Tyson, who has previously been associated with the pro wrestling world through his visits to and stints in WWE versus Chris Jericho, a man who has been a mainstay of pro wrestling in multiple organizations from AEW to NJPW to WWE. We even saw the two men come face-to-face to set up a feud for further down the line and one can assume that the match will happen at All Out.

Chris Jericho is done with Orange Cassidy and the need of the hour maybe for him to take on Mike Tyson in yet another brawl to remind the AEW fanbase that they have a dream match coming their way very soon indeed.

So, what we could see at AEW Fight for the Fallen is a confrontation between these two superstars in the ring to finalize the big, cross-sport contest.
