Best and worst of AEW Dynamite - All Elite answer to WWE TLC, Moxley makes a record?

I really thought that this week's episode of AEW Dynamite was not the best show until the very end. I loved how they pumped up the intensity last week after losing to WWE NXT for two straight weeks, but this week's show just seemed like a weaker effort to me, at least.

There were a lot of interesting things that I liked through the course of the show, but I just thought that there were parts where All Elite Wrestling lost my attention. It just seemed like a lot of components were randomly put together and the show did not come together, in my personal opinion.

Jungle Boy was called 'Jungle Jack Perry' a whole bunch of times, but from the Twitter feedback I have received, AEW fans seem to be okay with that, so I'm not going to make it a part of my review. I'll dive straight into the show!

#1 Best: The Young Bucks preview WWE TLC in AEW

The main event of the evening was clearly the best part of the show, and what else can you expect from LAX against Santana and Ortiz? I just thought that the timing of the match was funny, just ahead of the TLC pay-per-view this weekend.

But I'm here to talk about All Elite Wrestling, and this was a match that started on the ramp, and as one would expect, included a lot of foreign objects! It was a well-oiled effort from two of the best tag teams on the planet. Words won't do this match justice and you guys just need to watch it.

I love the fact that SCU will mix it up with the Young Bucks in what should be a pretty big match. It was time for The Young Bucks to enter the title picture!

#1 Worst: The women's match

I've stated several times in the past that even though I think the world of Emi Sakura as a wrestler, the Freddie Mercury thing does her no favors. It doesn't earn her any babyface points on most occasions and it doesn't even earn her heel heat, because, on most occasions, she's trying to get the crowd going for the 'We Will Rock You' sections.

Personally, I was even disappointed with Big Swole after hearing all the hype about the woman. Maybe the two women in the ring did not have chemistry but this match just seemed to go on and on!

The women's division of AEW really needs to step up and deliver. Most of the product is coming along well, but somehow the women's division is still a step or two behind.

All Elite Wrestling needs to sign a breakout women's superstar like Tessa Blanchard, as soon as she is a free agent again.

I honestly think that MJF is the best thing about All Elite Wrestling right now. While comparisons are often made to The Miz because of their obviously similar gimmicks, I daresay MJF has a lot more freedom to do his thing in AEW. And this is why he is so very over.

If you watch the clip above, you'll see just how good a bully he can be, genuinely getting the crowd to hate him. A lot of times, Chris Jericho, as good as he is, breaks the fourth wall and makes a joke and gets the crowd on his side for a cheap pop. We all know that wrestling is staged, but for us to buy into a fantasy there need to be good guys and bad guys!

MJF does not want to be cheered and I have to say that his feud with Cody Rhodes is the best thing about All Elite Wrestling.

#2 Worst: Assuming that the audience knows everyone

When you have three announcers at the table, the least one of them can do is fill in the blanks. As I saw from a lot of comments posted online, a lot of the audience did not know who QT Marshall was. He was impressive in the match but honestly, the audience only knew Cody Rhodes.

I get the fact that there is an air of mystique around The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny, which is why not everything will be revealed about them. But the announcers should have let the audience know about Marshall and what his association with Cody Rhodes was all about. I hardly know him and I do this for a living!

And the same is true for Big Swole as well, even though she has appeared on AEW Dark. Familiarize the world with Big Swole next week, announcers!

#3 Best/Worst: The whole Jon Moxley storyline

I thought that All Elite Wrestling kicked off the right on the right note this week, with Jon Moxley coming out to the ring through the crowd. The roar of the crowd was deafening as the former Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring and picked up a win, seemingly in record time.

But the whole tease of Moxley joining the faction, which is never going to happen, and then taking Chris Jericho on, is something we've seen so many times in pro wrestling already. It would be one thing to do this angle with someone more believable like MJF, who has heelish tendencies, but Jon Moxley is probably the biggest babyface in the company right now.

A lot of stuff in AEW does not make sense, like dinosaurs and aliens competing in the ring. The fact that Moxley did not lay Jericho out is a lot less ridiculous but almost as baffling to me, at least.

Also, where is Riho?
