With none of the New Day members present on Raw due to the Wild Card Rule, Kofi’s loss would have not made him look weak while transferring the championship to Lesnar, who would move to SmackDown with the championship.

On the other hand, Rollins would have become the biggest heel in WWE through his actions and bring back memories from his attack on The Shield some years ago.

Rollins’ heel turn would have also given some new faces a chance to fight for the top title on Raw, while possibly building a rivalry between Kofi and himself which could have led to a great match between the two men for the Universal Championship in the near future.
