Randy Orton's first two years on the WWE main roster saw him running roughshod over a string of legends, thus giving him the moniker of "Legend Killer". Orton finally got a shot at the big one on the road to SummerSlam 2004, after winning a battle royal. In the main event of the show, Orton defeated Chris Benoit to become the youngest World Champion in WWE history. Orton's first reign was a major flop, as he didn't do much of note and soon lost the belt to Triple H. He recovered soon though and established himself as one of the most ruthless and unforgiving villains in all of WWE.

Over the next several years, Orton feuded with the very best WWE had to offer and had marquee matches at WrestleMania and other major events. Orton won 13 World titles and is still going strong almost two decades after his debut. Orton will be challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at Clash of Champions, and a victory will tie his World title reign count with that of another all-time great, Triple H.
