Raw Reunion: 5 legends who could win the 24/7 championship 

It's the Raw Reunion on Monday, and as many as 40 legends have been scheduled to appear on the show. The likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle have been scheduled to make an appearance along with Melina, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox.

The 24/7 Championship is the talk of the town right now, and every single one in the WWE Universe loves it. R-Truth and Drake Maverick have been doing a tremendous job in keeping the audience glued to the segments, and the fact that it can be defended anytime, anywhere makes it more exciting.

One thing we have seen in common with these reunions and anniversary celebrations is the return of legends to squash current stars. While that is going to happen once again this Monday, it might be a little more interesting because of the 24/7 title.

Many will have an eye on the title as it is easy to get and adds to their collection without too much fuss. Without further ado, here are 5 legends who could have a go at the 24/7 Championship on Monday:

#5 – Hurricane Helms

Starting off with someone who has already had a go at the title this week. Hurricane Helms was at the San Diego Comic-Con and tried to take the title off R-Truth. The current 24/7 champion was giving an interview with IGN when he was rolled-up by the current WWE producer.

Truth did manage to retain the title as he kicked out at the 2-count. Drake Maverick then showed up but ended up with a similar fate as Truth escaped after kicking out once again at the 2-count.

Hurricane is scheduled to appear on Raw Reunion as well, and it is almost guaranteed that he will have a go at the title once again.

#4 – Santino Marella

Santino Marella is easily one of the most entertaining characters in WWE history. The 'Italian' has been announced to appear on the Raw Reunion this Monday and without a doubt, would be one of the legends involved in the 24/7 title segment.

Marella's stint with WWE was filled with witty segments and given that his comic timing is also brilliant, WWE would not waste an opportunity to put the 24/7 title on him. However, he is very likely to lose it straight away and it wouldn't be a surprise if he is given the dubious record of being the shortest titleholder in terms of time.

Whatever WWE creative team have in mind would have been relayed to Marella and we can only hope that he manages to entertain us like he did during his time in the ring.

#3 – Mick Foley

Mick Foley introduced the title to the WWE Universe in May and has now confirmed that he wants to win the title at the Raw Reunion. The WWE legend could use this opportunity and help in making the 24/7 title change its look too.

The one thing WWE Universe does not like about the title is its look and a lot was said about it when Foley introduced it 2 months ago. WWE have a great chance in redesigning it at the Raw Reunion and should take the opportunity to do so.

Making it look a lot like the Hardcore Title would be one of the best things to do and the WWE Universe would love it too. Just like Marella, Foley would also end up losing the title straight away as they would want a current superstar to end the show as the 24/7 champion.

#2 – Christian

One more chance! It's been 5 years since Christian retired from in-ring performances and there is no chance of him returning for another match. However, the fact that he can hold a title without even competing in a match would be something he would take.

Captain Charisma won the Hardcore title once but did not hold on to it for long. As soon as he won the title by pinning Molly Holly, Maven pinned him and took the title away.

Now, a similar situation is likely to happen again at the Raw Reunion. If Edge was also going to be present, it could have led to the two hosting a talk show but now that Christian is alone, it would be best to have him in the 24/7 title picture and make it more interesting.

#1 – Hornswoggle

R-Truth keeps confusing Drake Maverick for Hornswoggle and keeps calling him by that name. WWE have been playing it well so far and now would be the best time to get the real Hornswoggle into the picture.

The situation could be a very simple one where Hornswoggle and Maverick are seen together and Truth gets confused and pins one of them while the other one is actually the champion. The 24/7 title has been all about the midcarders chasing the champion so far and the same could be done here as well.

Truth trying to pin Hornswoggle could help Maverick escape and leave the whole bunch of midcarders confused as to what is happening and who the champion is.
