However, Shamrock is still gunning for a return, and this time, he has his eyes set on RAW Underground.

#4. Braun Strowman and EC3 file lawsuit against their former business partner

As revealed in the court documents, WWE Superstar Braun Strowman and EC3 are suing their former business partner Eric Holzer on various counts such as fraud, breach of contract, and digital theft.

#2. MVP provides an update on Samoa Joe's WWE in-ring return

Samoa Joe has been out of in-ring action since February. Thankfully for the WWE, the former United States Champion has been a revelation in the commentary booth.

WWE has been teasing Joe's in-ring return over the past few weeks due to his involvement in the feud between Dominik Mysterio and Seth Rollins.

However, Joe is still not medically cleared to wrestle as of this writing, but that could change soon.

During a recent interview with Newsweek, MVP was asked about the talents he would like to work with from the WWE.

MVP named Aleister Black and said that he was impressed by the former NXT Champion's talents.

The Hurt Business leader then revealed that Samoa Joe is going to be back in action soon, and he would love to face the former TNA star in the WWE ring.

"There's always someone. I was talking recently with Aleister Black and his talent has impressed me. He's a guy that impresses me in the ring and out of the ring and in the locker room. He's got that old-school mentality emerging as a locker room leader in his own right and he's gifted.
What I understand, ole Samoa Joe is gonna be back in action and over the years Samoa Joe and I have been great friends, but we've never ever faced each other. At this stage of my career, I think I feel a lot more confident facing him, knowing that I got Bobby and Shelton backing me up—but I also know that wouldn't phase Joe in the least. There's a number of guys that are coming along and that I'm looking forward to having an opportunity to work with in some capacity."

#1. The person in the WWE reportedly responsible for RAW Underground

Ad

RAW Underground has completed two editions and WWE has introduced various well-known as well as new faces as part of the shoot-style wrestling contest.

Tom Colohue revealed on the latest edition of the Dropkick DiSKussions podcast that RAW Underground was entirely Shane McMahon's idea.

Shane McMahon's creative influence has considerably grown backstage, and people in WWE are reportedly quite high on his ideas. With WWE short on writers, the company has been turning towards veteran talents and personalities to help with the creative requirements.

Here's what Tom Colohue revealed on the Dropkick DiSKussions podcast with host Korey Gunz:

"It was entirely Shane's idea, and I wouldn't be too surprised to see him step into that ring sooner rather than later. Honestly, people in the WWE are really quite high on some of Shane's ideas recently, including back in the Best of the World tournament and the Royal Rumble this year, where he was heavily involved in the booking. WWE has lost a lot of writing talent recently, so they have been leaning on wrestlers like Bryan, like Edge and the bosses, the McMahon family as well, even though, for example, Stephanie McMahon isn't there and isn't involved in anything. Shane's been very vocal."
