This is set to be a great match, no matter what the outcome is

WrestleMania 35: 4 possible outcomes of the match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre

Not many expected Roman Reigns to take part in WrestleMania after he announced that his leukemia was back. However, Reigns came back and is now set to appear at WrestleMania 35, where he is going to face the Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre.

In the buildup of this match, McIntyre has reigned (pun may or may not be intended) over Roman as he has time and again dominated over the former WWE champion. Not only that, but McIntyre also destroyed Dean Ambrose twice and is going into this match as the favorite.

Even on the latest Raw, McIntyre attacked Reigns from behind while he was giving an interview and left him reeling in pain on the floor. As a result, it seems as though there could be four possible finish to this match – and here they are from the least possible to the most possible…

#4 Squash win for McIntyre

We shall start with the unlikeliest of scenarios. In an ideal world, this would have been the best possible finish considering the circumstances. Reigns has just come back from a life-threatening condition and is going to face the biggest heel on Raw.

McIntyre, meanwhile, is on a roll ever since he was put on the main roster last year. He seems to be destined for great things this year and the best way to endorse his brutality and push him is by having him beat Roman Reigns not only in a clean manner but by also absolutely battering the former Shield member.

However, this is very unlikely given that Vince McMahon absolutely loves Reigns and sees him as the face of the company in the present and the future. As a result, the other result could be a…

#3 Clean win for Reigns

Roman Reigns could beat Drew McIntyre cleanly

I wasn’t entirely sure as to whether I should put this at number two or number three as McMahon’s love for Reigns might just make this option a real possibility. However, if WWE go down this path, it would not only be a huge blow for McIntyre – who is also someone liked by Vince McMahon – but it also wouldn’t make sense at all.

McIntyre is at the peak of his powers while Reigns has just returned after his cancer went back to remission and is still not completely at his best.

As a result, McIntyre has been able to overpower Reigns in the past few weeks. So, making Reigns win clean would not make any sense in terms of the storyline. Even then, however, you never know with WWE and Reigns cleanly beating McIntyre could actually happen.

#2 Dirty win for McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is the master of the dark arts

Drew McIntyre is a beast. He is a brute force of nature who destroys everything that is in his path. Ever since returning to the WWE, we have seen him destroy his opponents without mercy – and that includes all the members of the Shield.

The best/worst part about him is that he doesn’t seem to have a conscience and could do anything to beat his opponents. Low blows and using dark means to get a win over his opponent is a very common sight in his matches.

So, it won’t be shocking to see him use the dark arts to get one over Reigns. This way, Reigns’ image won’t be tarnished and the Scottish Psychopath would also get a huge push at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

This, for me, is the best way to go on about the feud.

#1 Ambrose intrusion resulting in Roman win or DQ

McIntyre has destroyed Ambrose twice

Drew McIntyre has squashed Dean Ambrose twice already ahead of WrestleMania. Even though the Scottish Psychopath has been pitted against Roman Reigns, he has beaten Ambrose more than Reigns.

So it is only logical to think that Ambrose could have something to do in this match. Since this is just a normal match, Ambrose’s inclusion could result in a DQ. However, there are many ways to bring Ambrose into this match and still have Roman Reigns win without the risk of being disqualified.

In terms of logic, it makes sense to not give Roman a clean win. The reasons have already been mentioned in the earlier slides. For McIntyre, he could still use the interference of Dean Ambrose as a reason for his loss at WrestleMania, which means his credibility as a ruthless heel will also not be tarnished.
