The Impact Roster Is Ripe for the Picking

6 Impact Wrestling Wrestlers WWE Should Hire

TNA or Impact Wrestling as it was formally known has gone through many changes over the years. At one point in time, it was fair to say that they were easily the second major promotion after WWE since the turn of the century and the closing of WCW.

Started by Jeff Jarrett, eventually brought by Dixie Carter and her family and now sold to Anthem Entertainment, Impact Wrestling is not what it once was. It used to have a major broadcasting partner in Spike (Now the Paramount Network) but they just kept jumping to other cable networks.

Now, Impact Wrestling can be seen on YouTube, Twitch as well as the Pursuit Channel on cable. If you're asking what the Pursuit Channel is, your guess is as good as mine. But this does not mean the Impact Wrestling Roster is devoid of talent. Quite the opposite.

It would not be wrong to deduce that even AEW would want to pick talent from Impact Wrestling to add to the AEW Roster. Considering WWE is stockpiling their roster to fill up their various brands such as WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown and NXT, it's safe to say they rather make sure that their competition does not have any of them.

It's a good time to be in professional wrestling with so many choices available to wrestlers. But for a lot of them, the WWE still remains at the top of the mountain.

#5 Killer Kross

One Scary Dude

While he may only be 6'3, he comes across as a very imposing figure. He's easily one of the best heels in Impact Wrestling right now, feuding with the likes of Brian Cage and Johnny Impact.

His in-ring work is fantastic. His athletic ability is quite genuine. His commitment to his character only advances his work. He even has a few great submission moves which is commendable.

If WWE were to hire him, he would make a great heel on NXT. A move to WWE SmackDown after earning his stripes could be in his future.

#4 LAX (Santana and Ortiz)

Damn! It feels good to be a gangsta!

LAX or The Latin American Xchange with Santana and Ortiz are easily one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling. While the tag team may seem too mature for WWE's PG era, they might be a great addition in the future.

With rumors circulating that Fox Sports wants edgier content when WWE SmackDown moves there, LAX could be one of the teams that could prove to be a game changer in the tag team division. Their brash no-BS attitude is compelling and their in-ring ability is excellent.

They're easily one of the best tag teams in Impact Wrestling. It would be interesting how they would work against the likes of New Day. Seeing The Power of Positivity go up against up...well bad-ass gangsters. Moreover, it would be great to see them taking on The Usos down the line. Interesting times ahead.

#3 Scarlett Bordeaux

Smoke Show Indeed

Scarlett Bordeaux defines the word knockout in every sense. The Impact Knockout is one of the most popular stars in Impact Wrestling and her character is in itself a great tribute to WWE Divas of the past.

While The Smoke Show certainly captivates audiences with her beauty, she can do the same in the WWE Universe. As Shania Twain put it, she's not just a pretty face.

While some WWE fans may not know is that Scarlett Bordeaux did appear on WWE RAW 2 years ago but she was brutally beaten in the ring by Nia Jax. Essentially, she did cameo appearances for WWE in 'extra' roles. But she has changed.

Scarlett Bordeaux can wrestle. She is no Sable. She has featured in inter-gender matches and can hold her own in the ring. She has the ability. She only needs the opportunity. Don't believe she can wrestle? Check out her flawless execution of a Canadian Destroyer.

#2 Tessa Blanchard

A Force to reckon with

Tessa Blanchard has that 'IT' factor. She was one of the rare women wrestlers who captivates wrestling fans every where she goes. Her physique coupled with her beauty give her an interesting look. Her wrestling skills are top-notch and her promos aren't bad either.

Tessa Blanchard was part of the Mae Young Classic in 2017 but didn't get signed after the event. Last year, in an interview, she stated she is still on very good terms with WWE. Since then, she's been one of the most in-demand female wrestlers on the professional wrestling circuit.

She won her bout at All In last year and is featured heavily on Impact. Some fans in the WWE Universe may compare her to Chyna but such comparisons are too early to make. With AEW looking to bolster their roster with female talent, it would be more interesting to see if WWE could make a play and sign her instead.

#1 Brian Cage

Fearless

Brian Cage is a man who was built to be a WWE Superstar. While his earler run with WWE didn't amount to anything, he certainly made a name for himself on the professional wrestling circuit in Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. WWE is the last frontier for this amazing in-ring worker.

He has the body of an Adonis but the moves of a cheetah. He is strong but fast. Whether it's a hurricana or a suplex, Brian Cage can do it all in the ring. He's like Wolverine come to life. His matches with John Morrison/Johnny Impact have been excellent. It would be interesting on who he be to go up against the likes of Seth Rollins or even a Brock Lesnar.

There are so many areas in the WWE where he could be useful. Whether it's WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown or WWE NXT, Brian Cage should be in the WWE. It's not a matter of If but a matter of when.
