Who will come out on top inside a steel cage at Money in the Bank?

WWE Money In The Bank 2019: 5 potential finishes for The Miz vs Shane McMahon - Steel Cage Match

The Miz and Shane McMahon collide tonight at Money in the Bank after what has been months of issues between the former Tag Team Champions. The Miz and Shane McMahon were on the same page a few months ago before The Miz cost the team the Tag Team Championships back at Elimination Chamber, which later led to their match at WrestleMania.

When The Miz was moved over to Monday Night Raw it was thought that the feud was over, but both stars have continued to invade SmackDown and Raw in recent weeks so that their feud has continued. The issues between the two stars have become so bad now that a steel cage is thought to be the only way that they can finish what they started at WrestleMania.

Despite being locked in a cage, there are still a number of potential outcomes to this match.

#5. The Miz finally defeats Shane McMahon

Will The Miz come out on top at Money in the Bank?

Back at WrestleMania, The Miz was defeated by the Commissioner of SmackDown Live after he was suplexed off the top of a structure and pinned. This was as part of a Falls Count Anywhere match which meant that this pin was legal, which is why a steel cage concept has been brought into this feud so that the men will be forced to remain in the ring at all times.

The Miz has been unable to get the upper-hand in their feud over the past few weeks, but today could finally be his chance since Shane McMahon will definitely want to put his body on the line in some way and Miz could then either pin him or escape the cage to finally get a win over his former friend.

#4. Interference from the WWE locker room

Shane and Elias have been working very closely over the past few weeks

Elias is seemingly Shane McMahon's newest best friend and has been backing the Commissioner up ever since he made his way over to SmackDown Live a few weeks ago. Shane and Elias have targeted Roman Reigns in recent months and tonight The Drifter will be forced to go-on-one with Roman Reigns that could leave him in a position where he's unable to help his boss in his match.

The B Team could well be the ones that Shane McMahon calls upon to help him to defeat Miz inside the cage since both Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas could scale the cage and help Shane McMahon to victory.

Roman Reigns is expected to face Shane McMahon in Saudi Arabia next month so if The Big Dog decides to interfere in tonight's match to help The Miz then it would help to set this match up ahead of time.

#3. Miz's father interferes in the match

The Miz's father has played a huge part in this rivalry

The Miz's father George played a role in their match at WrestleMania before he was hit by Shane McMahon and reportedly suffered a legitimate injury. George hasn't been seen on WWE TV since but there is nothing stopping him from helping his son tonight and when Shane McMahon brings some help down to the ring, he can be on hand to even the odds.

There's not much that George could really do since he isn't a professional wrestler, but he could stand on the outside and shut the cage on anyone who tries to escape and win the match. Mr. Miz was a highlight on SmackDown Live for a few weeks before he was injured at WrestleMania and it will be nice to have him back on WWE TV, especially since he became a funny meme following The Biggest Show of the Year.

#2. One or both of the men escape the cage

Who will be the first man to escape the cage?

The only way to win a steel cage match is pinfall, submission or to escape the cage, of course, there are a number of scenarios that could lead to escaping the cage including interference from a number of different superstars on the SmackDown roster.

There is also the fact that Shane McMahon is technically the boss so he could do whatever he wants in this match and even bribe the referee to the point where he can win. It's hard to see either man using the door to get out of the cage so it's more likely that either Shane or Miz will climb the cage and jump out. Either that or both men will exit the cage at the same time and it will then lead to the feud continuing.

#1. Shane McMahon defeats The Miz once again

Shane McMahon holds all of the cards heading into tonight's match since he's already beaten The Miz once and also has a number of friends that would be happy to step in and help him as part of tonight's match.

Shane McMahon winning would definitely bring an end to this feud, which means that it's not the most likely outcome because WWE likes to keep to 50/50 bookings. That being said, this is Shane McMahon and if they are hoping for him to move forward and face someone else in Saudi Arabia then he will have to finish his feud with The Miz first.

Interference is likely in this match and since Shane McMahon was happy to accept this match, to begin with, you have to think that he has some cool tricks up his sleeve.
