WrestleMania 32 saw the largest crowd in the show's history, with over 100,000 fans flocking in to witness the action unfold inside the squared circle.

The annual extravaganza was headlined by Triple H vs Roman Reigns, with The Big Dog winning the WWE World Title by defeating The Game.

The event also featured a segment involving three WWE Hall of Famers, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and Mick Foley.

After The New Day lost their match to The League of Nations, the legends came out to save the day and fended off the villains.

This led to a celebration involving the three veterans and The New Day. Austin wasn't too thrilled with the prospect of dancing with Xavier Woods though, as he hit the New Day member with a thunderous Stunner.

The heart of the matter

Batista opened up on the original plans for the segment, revealing that he was supposed to be involved in it, but rejected the offer and asked where was his match against Triple H. Batista says that WWE didn't show an interest in the match at the time.

Then there was another time where they had Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and Shawn Michaels and they did something with the New Day (WrestleMania 32), I was supposed to play the part of Mick and I said that was something I didn't want. Hunter was there and I said, 'When are we going to start talking about Hunter at Mania?' They just never really showed any interest in it.

Batista did get his match though, when he faced Triple H three years later at WrestleMania 35.
