Chris "Abyss" Parks made his debut as a WWE backstage producer for tonight's Monday Night RAW in Lafayette, LA. This is Abyss' first work for the WWE since leaving Impact Wrestling in January.

Chris "Abyss" Parks has worked for Impact Wrestling (f.k.a. TNA) since 2002 and was the sole remaining "TNA Original" to remain with the organization through January 2019.

He had recently become the latest inductee into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame for 2018, last October. To date, Abyss is one of the longest reigning tenured performers from Impact Wrestling to join the WWE.

He joins the WWE family alongside the likes of Impact Wrestling alumni Shawn Daivari, Shane "The Hurricane" Helms, Sonjay Dutt and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett.

As reported by PWInsider, Chris "Abyss" Parks had left Impact Wrestling in January and began his new position as a backstage producer for the WWE as of last week. Abyss began producing for the company for the RAW Brand tonight in Lafayette, Louisiana.

What's Next

Abyss will continue working with the WWE as a behind the scenes producer and agent, working with various WWE Superstars and working on storylines and angles.

Abyss will prove to be a vital addition to the WWE roster, whether he works backstage or inside the ring.

There is the potential that Abyss could be working with NXT and the up and comers in the Performance Center in the near future as a means to help aspiring men and women become the next WWE Superstar for either the RAW or SmackDown Live Brand.
