WWE News: Kofi Kingston sends a bold message to Brock Lesnar following Money in the Bank

At the recently concluded Money in the Bank pay-per-view, former Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he made his return to WWE since his crushing defeat at WrestleMania 35 and captured the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase.

Lesnar, who is now guaranteed of a world title shot, has been put on notice by current WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston.

In case you didn't know...

At WrestleMania 35, Kofi Kingston made history by winning the WWE Championship for the very first time in his career, as he defeated the former champion, rather the Planet's Champion, Daniel Bryan to capture his very first World Title in 11 years.

Following two successful title defenses against Daniel Bryan and another one in a Triple Threat match against AJ Styles and Sami Zayn, Kingston was once again successful in retaining his title last night at Money in the Bank, this time against his arch-rival Kevin Owens.

Not only did Brock Lesnar stun everyone in the WWE roster with his historic win but he certainly did send major shockwaves around the WWE Universe, thanks to him unhooking the briefcase and capturing the Money in the Bank contract in the final few minutes of the match.

With Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship now potentially being in Lesnar's sights, the current WWE Champion has taken to social media and has decided to send a message to 'The Beast'.

Kingston tweeted out the following, claiming that he will undoubtedly be ready if Lesnar eventually decides to set his sights on the current WWE Champion.

What's next?

With Kofi Kingston retaining his WWE Title against Kevin Owens, it'll now be interesting to note who turns out as his next challenger on the blue brand of SmackDown Live. However, as far as Lesnar is concerned, 'The Beast Incarnate' could set his sights on Seth Rollins and the Universal Championship, having lost the belt at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
