New Day might finally have snapped

WWE News: New Day finally snaps and attacks Superstars on WWE SmackDown Live

What's the story?

This week's episode of SmackDown Live saw The New Day attack the tag teams during a match between The Bar, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev, taking on The Hardy Boyz, Ricochet and Aleister Black.

Halfway through the match, New Day's Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods attacked the Bar, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.

Kofi Kingston has long been denied the match he earned to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania. Thanks to Vince McMahon, the two tag teams played a part in denying what Kofi Kingston had earned at WWE Fastlane.

In case you didn't know...

Kofi Kingston has been the heart of SmackDown Live and WWE ever since he took part in the Gauntlet Match on WWE SmackDown where he stole the show completely.

He was then able to qualify to be the person who would be the one to challenge Daniel Bryan for the title at WWE Fastlane. However, Vince McMahon changed the match again, taking his opportunity away and replacing him with Kevin Owens.

At WWE Fastlane it appeared he had changed his mind and was going to give him the match that Kingston wanted. However, it was an ambush. Upon reaching the ring, Kingston was informed that he was going to take on The Bar in a two-on-one handicap match.

While The Bar was beating down Kingston together in the ring at the same time, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev attacked Big E and Xavier Woods, preventing them from coming into the ring to help their partner.

The heart of the matter

New Day finally snapped on WWE SmackDown Live, after having done everything in the leadup to the show by the books. They had tried to actually earn the opportunities, but every time that they did it was taken away from them.

On SmackDown Live, during the eight-man tag team match, they interfered and beat down the Bar, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rusev. They left the beaten down bodies of the Superstars in the middle of the ring.

What's next?

The New Day might finally be getting their opportunity on SmackDown Live, with Vince McMahon giving Kofi his chance.
