Bray Wyatt was released from the WWE in July this year, but details regarding his surprise departure from the company continue to emerge with each passing week.

Andrew Zarian spoke about the controversial circumstances surrounding Bray Wyatt's release. Based on a first-hand WWE source, Zarian stated that Bray Wyatt was 'being difficult' and that the company even had problems with his weight.

Bray Wyatt's in-ring performances were allegedly also brought under the scanner, and all the backstage trouble eventually contributed to his exit from the WWE.

"Bray was being difficult. And I'm gonna fill in a lot; I'm not even gonna quote. Because I have the quote, (but) I don't wanna quote it. He was a little difficult, he had some performance issues in the ring, and he had some weight issues. I'm not saying that that's the reason, I'm not gonna say that's the reason, but you can kind of piece things together – when you evaluate a talent, and you're, like, 'Okay we need this, and we need that, and this is the plan moving forward,' you need someone… sometimes the decision is easier to make if you make it more difficult for them to make that decision," said Andrew Zarian.

Regarding Bray Wyatt's future, Dave Meltzer revealed in the Newsletter that the former WWE Champion plans on using his real name 'Windham' moving forward.

Named after his legendary uncle, Barry Windham, Bray Wyatt's real name is 'Windham Rotunda,' and that's what he is most likely going to use once he returns to action.

#4. Details on the finish for Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel

As reported by Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may have lined up a non-finish for the upcoming Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel.

The upcoming pay-per-view has been built around Roman Reigns' rivalry with Brock Lesnar. Meltzer stated that the program between the two superstars would feature multiple matches.

While WWE has booking options to hand Brock Lesnar a loss, Meltzer wrote that the company has no problem having the Universal title clash conclude with a non-finish. Here's what Meltzer said:

"The show is built around Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal title in the first match of what is expected to be a multiple match series. The finish will be interesting. There are ways to beat Lesnar that still leave a rematch open, and WWE has no qualms with a non-finish," said Meltzer.

Roman Reigns sat down for an interview with Bleacher Report's Graham GSM Matthews, where he revealed what went into the creation of his new theme song.

While choosing the right song took several months, Reigns could not debut his new theme at WrestleMania 37 due to a few differences with Vince McMahon. Their disagreements delayed the introduction of his heel theme.

Roman Reigns also admitted that he wanted to feel the entrance theme properly before presenting it to the masses. Here's what he said:

"It wasn't ready. Me and the big man weren't agreeing on a couple of things, so I was like, 'Screw it, I'm not going out to it now.' I have to feel it because nobody outside of my cousins and Paul is walking out to that. To me, these are the types of things I have to 100 percent be connected to, and that's why our audience can trust me and the presentation and the character and everything I'm doing," said Reigns.

#2. WWE has reportedly nixed Survivor Series plan for The Rock

Ad

Andrew Zarian was the first to report on the recent Mat Men podcast episode that The Rock would be unavailable to appear in person at the WWE Survivor Series show.

Dwayne Johnson is scheduled to be in Australia on November 21st, but it was noted that WWE could still get him involved at the event via a video package.

Dave Meltzer revealed in the Newsletter that Vince McMahon originally wanted The Rock to show up at Survivor Series to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his main roster debut for the WWE.

The reported plan, however, is now said to be 'out of the window.' Here's an excerpt of the report from the Newsletter:

"The idea of an appearance/angle from Dwayne Johnson on what would have been the 25th anniversary of his WWF main promotion televised debut at this year's Survivor Series are out the window," stated Meltzer.

During her appearance on Ryan Satin's 'Out of Character,' Becky Lynch opened up about the possibility of squaring up with Ronda Rousey in a future singles match.

Rousey recently gave birth to a baby girl, and several fans are hoping the former RAW Women's Champion will begin working towards a professional wrestling return similar to Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch said she saw herself battling Rousey somewhere down the line. The Irish star isn't bothered by the timeline of Rousey's return as she promised to beat the former UFC Champion whenever she is ready.

"Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I've had a baby and came back so great that she'll probably want to one-up me. She'll try to come back in three months; then I'll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda. So long, good night," said Lynch.
