WWE News: WWE Superstar calls out Roman Reigns ahead of Monday Night Raw return

What's the story?

Yesterday, Vince McMahon revealed that Roman Reigns would be returning to Monday Night Raw to address the WWE Universe.

While we don't know what to expect from the former Universal Champion, we can expect to see several superstars interact with him. However...one might catch you by surprise.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns has been away for several months now after announcing that his leukemia had returned back in October.

Since then, the Big Dog has made a few appearances outside the company while facing his own personal battle. We saw him show up at Georga Tech's rivalry game against Georgia back in November, representing his alma mater.

Last month, it was revealed that Reigns would be playing a role in The Rock's upcoming movie, Hobbs and Shaw, a spinoff of the popular Fast and Furious series. The People's Champ sent encouraging words his way, wishing him all the best while he continues his ongoing fight.

Back when he dropped the Universal Championship, he told the Universe that he wasn't gone for good and that he would be back soon to reclaim what was rightfully his. A month prior, however, The Shield was mercilessly attacked by the Raw locker room.

While Reigns may be showing up to give an update to the WWE Universe, one of the men that attacked him all those months ago seems to still want a piece of him and may look for another chance on Monday Night Raw.

The heart of the matter

One of the many stars to assault the Shield back in September was 205 Live star and known Submission Specialist Drew Gulak.

Gulak has become one of the most vicious superstars on the brand and even managed to give Matt Riddle his toughest challenge on one of the latest episodes of NXT. Now, it looks like he might want to finish what he started all those months ago.

Gulak posted a picture of himself attacking an unsuspecting Reigns on Twitter, "welcoming" him back to Raw.

What's next?

It's not known exactly what Roman Reigns has in store for the WWE Universe at the moment. Odds are he'll appear to let the fans know how well his treatment is going.

However, with Seth Rollins now challenging Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, and Dean Ambrose possibly leaving after the event, we could see one final Shield reunion. The only way to find out is to tune in to Monday Night Raw this week and find out for ourselves.
