As the pace picks up on the road to NXT Takeover: Phoenix, the Superstars on the NXT roster are all looking to gather momentum to head into the pay-per-view in the best of shape.

On 16th January, 2019's episode of NXT, Kassius Ohno will face the 'Limitless' Keith Lee, as Lee will look to make things right after Ohno delivered a terrible blow by attacking his friend Matt Riddle from behind in last week's episode. The WWE Universe and Keith Lee both did not take the attack well, and they are scheduled for a slugfest tonight.

Bianca Belair will also feature this week, as she prepares to send a message to her opponent for NXT Takeover, Shayna Baszler. Baszler and Belair will square off in the ring at Takeover, but before that, the Belair may have a few words.

Both Johnny Gargano and Dominic Dijakovic are returning to action in separate matches this week. After hitting Ricochet with a Superkick, Gargano will look to continue building momentum on the way to Takeover. Meanwhile, Dijakovic has proven just how ruthless he is in previous weeks, and he will look to continue to build his reputation.

Also featuring on the card are the Street Profits, as they will look to reach the top perch in the NXT Tag Team Division in 2019.
