He went for a moonsault but missed, leading Ricochet to take advantage. He showed an incredible feat of strength with a suplex to the tower of a human being. A 630 splash led to a win for Ricochet.

Short but incredible match from these two competitors. Hopefully, they have another match that's longer.

Ricochet called him out for being a coward and standing across the ramp. Dream said that there needed to be a spotlight for both of them, and said he'll see him in Chicago. He reiterated that anything Ricochet could do, he could do better.

Dakoti Kai did not seem confident, with all the mind games from Baszler. The champion continued to play mind games and establish her dominance. Baszler mercilessly attacked the left leg of Dakota Kai, her biggest strength.

The champion would do nothing but work on her left leg, seemingly trying to snap it in half. The crowd rallied behind Kai and it seemed to give her enough adrenalin to land an enziguri on Baszler before she made a comeback. She hit her with a series of kicks and even hit two Kaio-Kicks to Baszler. The champion caught her when Kai was ready to finish things and countered into a sleeper hold, forcing the resilient challenger to tap.

Dakota Kai counted to three and Cross seemed to think that she won the title. She went with the fans to celebrate, even though it was perfectly clear that she was and is not in fact, the NXT Women's Championship.

The show ended with Cross standing tall at the ramp with the title while Baszler looked on, distraught.
