WWE Raw: 5 Burning questions before this week's episode (June 24, 2019)

With all the negativity that surrounded the Stomping Grounds PPV, WWE managed to pull off a decent show for the fans. Now that the big PPV is in the history books, the eyes of the fans will switch to this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

#5 Can Ricochet defeat the Phenomenal One?

Being a champion is not as easy as one thinks

Ricochet and Lacey Evans are the only superstars among the latest NXT call-ups to get a decent push on the main roster. While Lacey Evans is still in the hunt for the Raw Women's title, Ricochet pulled off the ultimate upset by defeating Samoa Joe clean to win the United States Championship at Stomping Grounds.

But the new US Champion is already feeling the pressure as AJ Styles has seemingly challenged Ricochet to a match on this week's Raw. The Club walked in on Ricochet while the latter was getting his pictures taken as the new US Champion, Styles congratulated Ricochet and said he'll meet him on Raw in a cryptic manner.

WWE announced Ricochet will take on Styles in a non-title match on this week's Raw. If Ricochet manages to beat the Phenomenal One, it will be a huge milestone in his career.

AJ Styles and the Club will travel to Tokyo, Japan later this week where they will team up with Triple H in a 4-on-four tag team match. Styles would love to return to Japan with a win over the US Champion, and we'll find out this Monday if Ricochet's momentum gets tampered at the hands of the Phenomenal One.

#4 How will the Sassy Southern Belle react after losing to Becky Lynch?

Things are not over between the Lady and the Man!

Becky Lynch defeated Lacey Evans at Stomping Grounds to retain her Raw Women's Championship. Evans dominated the initial stages of the match, but Lynch made her tap out to the Disarmher to pick up the easy win.

That wasn't the only interaction between the two superstars at Stomping Grounds as Evans went on to be the special guest referee for the main event Universal Championship match. Lynch attacked Evans when the latter low-blowed Universal Champion Seth Rollins, who also happens to be the boyfriend of the Raw Women's Champion.

Becky Lynch stood tall over Lacey Evans twice in the same night, and we can be sure that things are not over between the Sassy Southern Belle and the Man. We can expect the feud to continue until SummerSlam where Lynch could potentially drop the title to Evans.

#3 Will Bray Wyatt make his big return on this week's Raw?

Will Vince McMahon let him in back on Raw?

It appears that we have seen the finale of Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House segment on last week’s Raw. Bray Wyatt in his Fiend persona disappeared from the Fun House on last week’s show, and that could mean the Eater of Worlds might come to haunt the live crowd this Monday.

The Firefly Fun House, along with R-Truth's 24/7 title segments, have carried Raw on their backs for the past few weeks. While R-Truth will continue to make the fans laugh with his hilarious acts, Bray Wyatt could be coming to haunt them on this week's Raw.

It's been a long time since we've seen Bray Wyatt live on Raw. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact Wyatt will make with his new character if he returns to Raw this week.

#2 Will Roman Reigns fall prey to McIntyre & Shane O'Mac?

Who will come to the aid of the Bog Dog?

Roman Reigns locked horns with Drew McIntyre in a WrestleMania rematch at Stomping Grounds. With Shane McMahon in McIntyre's corner, the Scottish Psychopath promised to brutalize Roman Reigns.

That's not exactly what happened, as the Big Dog took the fight to Drew McIntyre and won the match despite Shane McMahon's interference. But the Big Dog will have the odds stacked against him on this week's Raw as he will face Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon in a handicap match.

With rumors of Shane McMahon being the next person to win the WWE Championship, it's possible the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston could come to the aid of Roman Reigns during the handicap match.

If the rumors are true, this could be the right opportunity for WWE to have Shane McMahon and Kofi Kingston cross paths. We'll find out if this comes to fruition on this week's Raw.

#1 Who will be the next challenger for the Universal Championship?

What's next for the Universal Champion?

Seth Rollins thought he had things in his control after he took out every superstar Baron Corbin approached to be the special guest referee. But little did the champion know that Corbin found someone he couldn't take down.

Baron Corbin introduced Lacey Evans as the special guest referee for the Universal title match at Stomping Grounds. The Sassy Southern Belle did all she could to make sure Rollins didn't not leave the arena with the title around his waist.

But Rollins had an equalizer of his own, as his girlfriend Becky Lynch came out to make the save after Lacey Evans low-blowed Rollins. Lynch took out the Sassy Southern Belle and gave Rollins the opening to hit the stomp on Corbin and retain the title.

The next question that comes to our mind is who will be the next challenger for the Universal Championship? Will Baron Corbin get himself another opportunity at the title, or will it be another superstar?

Brock Lesnar is also lurking in the shadows with his Money in the Bank contract, and we'll find out on Monday who the next person to challenge Rollins for the Universal Championship will be.
