WWE RAW: 5 Things Bray Wyatt secretly told us through the death of Ramblin Rabbit

This week's episode of RAW was an exciting one. There were undoubtedly some big high points but at the same time, there were such massive lows that I wondered what I was even watching as a fully grown adult.

But thankfully, in this segment, we will not talk about The Revival's itchy trunks and focus instead on one of the high points of the show this week. I thought that there were quite a few interesting points to note from this week's episode of the Firefly Fun House once again.

If you think that I missed out on anything, I would love to hear your take in the comments. Bray Wyatt has also, on Twitter, asked a riddle to the WWE Universe, so one assumes that he loves teasing his fans with a barrage of clues.

Here are 5 things that I spotted from this week's Firefly Fun House segment (and the associated posts).

#5 A Game of Thrones reference

Shortly after the untimely demise of everyone's favourite toy bunny, Ramblin' Rabbit, Bray Wyatt went to Twitter and posted the message above. The caption - 'What is dead may never die' comes from Game of Thrones, the hit HBO show. The series is currently in its final season and I wouldn't be surprised if Wyatt is a big fan too.

I have interviewed Rosemary from Impact Wrestling in the past and her finisher is called 'The Red Wedding', which is a clear nod to the TV series. Another one of her moves is called the Upside Down which is a tribute to yet another popular television show called Stranger Things.

'What is dead may never die' is a common saying in the religion of the Drowned God in Game of Thrones, like I've mentioned. It is famously said by Theon Greyjoy.

#4 Hurt and heal

Did you manage to catch the two words on Bray Wyatt's gloves?

So, to repeat the obvious, Mercy The Buzzard enjoyed a meal during this week's episode. And it's perfectly fine for toy buzzards to have meals at all points of the day, except when it involves feeling on Ramblin' Rabbits. However, Bray Wyatt preached forgiveness and even equated the act of murder to painting a picture and yes, flying a kite!

There was a point during the promo when we saw two words on Bray Wyatt's gloves, during a strange little creepy segue. It did seem like the two words were Hurt and Heal. It is clear that there is a duality in Bray Wyatt.

What this essentially means is that we will see both aspects of his persona emerge in the days to follow. Could Wyatt be portrayed as a really demented schizophrenic character?

#3 The picnic

I'm sure that one of the things you are wondering right now is why Bray Wyatt promised a picnic to Mercy The Buzzard and Abby The Witch, following the death of Ramblin' Rabbit this week. Well, it was a little homage to Waylon Mercy, the character upon which Bray Wyatt is based.

Bray Wyatt was just another guy in the WWE roster before he ran into Dan Spivey, the man who first played the part of Waylon Mercy, an unforgettable character from WWE's classic era. Wyatt adapted elements of Mercy's character, including the Hawaiian shirts to make a unique character of his own.

Now one of the most famous Waylon Mercy promos was one about throwing a picnic. Just check out the link shared about and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Bray Wyatt's segments are so filled with subliminal messages that you have to pay attention all the time!

#2 Nod to an old segment

So, at one point during this week's segment, Bray Wyatt mentions that Mercy The Buzzard must be forgiven and indeed, even be rewarded for his actions. As a reward, Wyatt invites Mercy The Buzzard on a picnic, along with a lot of dejected looking little kids. It is clear that this segment is a nod to a classic segment featuring Wyatt.

Remember the classic John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt feud? At one point during the program, Bray Wyatt brought out a whole choir of little kids dressed in sheep masks. If you noticed the segment this week, Bray Wyatt held a toy lamb in his hand, clearly indicating that the proceedings were a nod to this one.

Both Erick Rowan and Luke Harper used to put on sheep masks when they arrived as part of the Wyatt Family. The symbolism is both obvious and also ominous at the same time.

#1 Mercy The Buzzard is going to be the wild card of the group

So, let's assume for a minute that the Firefly Fun House will be like the new Wyatt Family. What this basically means is that there will be one character playing Mercy The Buzzard and another playing Abby The Witch.

Whether it is Luke Harper or Eric Young or even someone else playing Mercy The Buzzard, it is clear that he will be the unhinged individual among the trio. Abby The Witch was almost like a class monitor, chastising Mercy The Buzzard for eating Ramblin' Rabbit.

Bray Wyatt will clearly be the head of this group and he will want to lead them down a babyface road on either RAW or SmackDown Live. Unfortunately, the darkness in him will shine through and we'll be in for some crazy and unhinged moments.

This could be the best storyline in forever!
