Before we get to all that, it's best to start off with the two headline-makers of the day:

Brandi Rhodes and Cody Rhodes were at Starrcast IV, and during their interview, were asked about the WWE Superstar they wanted in All Elite Wrestling. The Chief Branding officer immediately picked WWE's Alexa Bliss.

The former WWE SmackDown Women's champion has been one of the best wrestlers in the company. She has held all three titles on the main roster – SmackDown, RAW and Women's tag-team titles – since she got called up.

Bliss is set to undergo an evaluation on November 15 for her shoulder issues. She has been out of action for a few weeks now, and that has given WWE the chance to push Nikki Cross – her tag-team partner.

In a surprising turn of events, Randy Orton turned babyface in Manchester last night! The former WWE Champion teamed up with Carrillo and Ricochet to take on The OC at the taping.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that the move could be to set up a feud between Orton and Ricochet in the future. He has just signed a 5-year deal with the company, and a feud with Ricochet could be the long term plan for him right now.

Vince McMahon's reaction after Kofi was squashed by Lesnar

Kofimania ended on WWE SmackDown's premiere on the FOX Network, to the astonishment of most fans. While the result was anticipated, the way the fight ended was what shocked the fans.

Brock Lesnar finished Kofi Kingston off with just one F5, and it was all done to set up a match with Cain Velasquez. Talking about the incident with talkSPORT, Kofi said:

We definitely had some words. It was positive because it was very special for both of us. You saw the documentary when I came through gorilla after winning, he had tears in his eyes and we’re all hugging, myself, Woods and [Big] E. Because, it’s been a wild ride, man. Vince has been on the ride with us and he was actually one of the only people to support the New Day when we were first coming up. Granted, we didn’t want to be three preachers [laughs], but he was the one that actually gave us a chance to go out there and be a unit. So it’s been a journey and a journey for all of us.

The former WWE Champion is now the SmackDown tag-team champion after he, along with Big E, defeated The Revival at the Manchester taping last night.

Dolph Ziggler threatened to quit because of Goldberg

Dolph Ziggler has revealed that he threatened to quit if WWE forced him to lose to Goldberg with just one spear. The former WWE Champion was talking to talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy when he said:

"They go 'it's going to be a bell, spear, pin.' You go 'c'maaan'. I fought all day long, threatened to leave, threatened to quit and said give me two damn minutes!"

The match did not last long but it wasn't decided by one spear either. Ziggler started off with two Superkicks while Goldberg came back with a spear and a jackhammer before pinning him.

Ziggler then had a segment with the microphone where he got Goldberg riled up. The Hall of Famer would return to the ring and take out his opponent again. This was repeated one more time before Goldberg exited the scene.

The two teased a rematch but nothing has happened so far and it does not look like WWE have any plans for the same.

The Fiend attacks three RAW Superstars

A dark segment following the Monday Night RAW taping saw The Fiend attack The OC – Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and the United States champion, AJ Styles. It took place in Manchester last night and will not be aired, just like other dark segments.

Bray Wyatt made his way to the ring when Styles was badmouthing the fans in the Arena and calling some of them ‘idiots’. The Fiend was attacked by The OC straight away but he withstood everything thrown at him.

The WWE Universal Champion them threw out Gallows before hitting the Sister Abigail on Anderson. Styles was left helpless and The Fiend attacked him with the mandible claw.

The lights went out and The Fiend appeared on the stage before the scene went dark again for the champion to exit. Wyatt does not have an opponent for Survivor Series as yet and there are only a couple of weeks left until the pay-per-view!
