"There was a real fight that took place that day in the middle of the Garden. Why? Because when you think of Randy and Chris Jericho in SummerSlam [2016], Randy bleeding out. They guys in the locker room are not smart into the business. Jericho leaves that locker room furious. Gets into Gorilla and flips out and causes a fight between Brock and Vince. Because he in his mind is protecting Randy and the business and he is thinking that Brock is taking liberties on a guy. [No one] in the entire arena whether backstage, in the locker room, in Gorilla, in the fu--ing arena, didn't know what the f--k just happened. Very confusing, because it was real." H/t WrestlingInc

#4 Has WWE selected the 'The Next Big Thing'?

WWE NXT saw the debut of Ridge Holland this week. The British Superstar took on Oney Lorcan and Damien Priest in a qualifier for the North-American Championship match. While the young up and comer lost the match, he did manage to impress a lot of the fans and critics.

Not just that, as per reports, the WWE management is also very keen on Ridge Holland and see the next big thing in him. When Brock Lesnar had debuted in 2002, he was labelled as The Next Big Thing as well.

Here is what Bryan Alvarez stated on WOL:

"I've had a lot of people emailing me about Ridge Holland, and it's all been positive. They think this guy has the potential to be 'The Next Big Thing,' which is, that's saying something. So we'll see tonight."

Ridge Holland has got an impeccable look and is someone who fits te bill for being a Vince McMahon guy. He has also had a lot of experience in WWE already as he was part of the NXT UK brand before coming to WWE NXT.

#3 Major botch made by WWE before new faction's debut

This week on WWE RAW, we saw the debut of a new faction called RETRIBUTION. The men and women dressed in all back were responsible for wreaking havoc on Monday Night RAW by destroying the generator and causing trouble with the power supply.

However, their debut was a surprise to no one as WWE had already announced on their website that a new faction will be coming to RAW. As per Fightful Select, this was a major botch by the WWE Social Media team who 'jumped the gun' and announced the stable's debut.

Pro Wrestling Sheet had reported about the new faction ahead of RAW which was possibly the key reason for WWE.com also releasing the news. There are reports suggesting that this new faction could be comprising of Superstars from NXT. However, everything is conjecture at this point as their true identities are not known.

Another report has stated that WWE is planning to bring in more factions soon and go back to the 90s mentality of multiple stables on a show.

This week on WWE RAW we saw The Queen of Spades Shayna Baszler take on The Legit Boss Sasha Banks. The two women had a gruelling match with hard kicks and stiff knocks.

However, there was a point in the match where the RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks was very close to breaking her hand. It was The Cagefighter Baszler's quick thinking and timely action which prevented Banks from being shelved.

Catch Wrestling U spotted the moment in the match and explained how Shayna Baszler helped Sasha Banks during their match. Baszler proved that she is an absolute professional inside the ring and a safe worker.

Sasha's thumb is up meaning her elbow is especially prone to hyper-extension. Shayna rotates Sasha's thumb palm down changing the angle of the elbow, making the roll to the ropes safe.

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks will likely go on to feud with Shayna Baszler if she manages to retain the RAW Women's Championship against Asuka in their upcoming match.

One half of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro recently spoke to Patrick Hauser of Sport. The Swiss Cyborg talked about multiple topics including when he will retire from the wrestling business.

Cesaro is 39 years old and continues to be in tremendous shape. He is one of the best athletes on the roster and is touted as the strongest pound for pound Superstar on the roster today.

Even though Cesaro has had a tremendous Tag Team career in WWE, he has never truly shined in the singles division even though he a pegged to be a top Superstar one day. Cesaro revealed what advice he was given by John Cena and how he holds it close to his heart.

"I want to get better every day, that's how I handle my career. If I can't do it anymore, it's time to stop. A wise man named John Cena once told me that you are only as good as you were in your last match. I want my last match to be great. When I see that this is no longer possible, you have to stop. I don't know when that is."
