"I don't think Linda was either, quite frankly. She just said, 'I'm sorry we're doing this. I didn't want to get involved, but it's what Vince wants, and you know how that goes.' I said, 'I sure do. Don't worry about it. You're just doing your job.'" (H/T WrestlingInc)

Jim Ross is now a part of AEW and can be seen on AEW Dynamite every week as a commentator on the show. Jim Ross was considered the voice of WWE for a long time and it had come as a surprise to everyone when the veteran was released by Vince McMahon in favour of younger announcers.

Charly Caruso has become a staple in WWE and has been lauded as of of the best backstage interviewers in the company. She had been involved in an angle with Angel Garza sometime back which seemed like a precursor to a romantic storyline.

However, the story did not materialize and the chemistry between Garza and Charly did not have a proper end. Charly Caruso was asked by a WWE fan about the status of her story with Angel Garza on Twitter. Here is what she stated:

It also randomly stopped.

Angel Garza is no longer in a tag team with Andrade but is still part of Monday Night RAW. While Charly has stated that the storyline has been stopped, it is still possible that WWE decides to restart the flirtatious backstage segments involving Angel Garza and Charly Caruso.

There are rumors that WWE is high on Angel Garza and he will likely be getting a major singles to push soon. Having Caruso by his corner would only add to the charm of the Lethal Lothario.

#3 Triple H refused the role to become the RAW creative head in WWE

Triple H is not only a legend inside the WWE ring but has grown to become the most important backstage official in WWE, second only to Vince McMahon. As per Fightful Select, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were both offered the role of RAW Executive Director before it was given to Paul Heyman as they both refused.

Here is what Cagesideseats stated:

Some sources told the site Triple H could have had the Raw job if he’d wanted it. Stephanie McMahon didn’t want it either; she was happy with her Chief Brand Officer position.

Paul Heyman had done a commendable job as the RAW Executive Director and tried to establish younger stars such as Andrade, Aleister Black, and Apollo Crews during his tenure.

Heyman was replaced by Bruce Prichard as the RAW creative head while Heyman was sent to SmackDown to become Roman Reigns' new manager. Triple H already has a packed schedule as he is primarily involved in NXT, which could be the reason why he chose not to take up the RAW role.

#2 Reason why Paul Heyman 'passed on' Braun Strowman in WWE

Talking about Paul Heyman's role as RAW Executive Director in WWE, Fighful Select also noted that he was in favour of making new stars and 'passed on' established wrestlers like Braun Strowman.

They state that he wanted a roster full of younger and less established Superstars hence letting go of Braun Strowman, who was sent to SmackDown. Here is what Cagesideseats stated:

A new Fightful Select report on Paul Heyman’s time as Raw Executive Director says he designed the post-2019 Draft roster with an emphasis on more polished, underutilized workers. He even passed on established names like Braun Strowman for that reason.

Braun Strowman became the Universal Champion while part of the SmackDown roster but Heyman could not manage to make Superstars such as Aleister Black, Andrade, or Garza big Superstars. Now The Monster Among Men has been drafted to RAW.

It will be interesting to see what happens next with Braun Strowman in WWE after he has become a member of the RAW roster.

#1 EC3 says WWE's RAW Underground was his idea

RAW Underground had taken the WWE Universe by storm and received a positive reaction initially. Unfortunately, the segments were scrapped and it appears that we will not be getting any more of RAW Underground in WWE.

While it was said that Shane McMahon was the person responsible for the idea, former WWE Superstar EC3 claimed on ROH Strong podcast that he was the one behind the idea.

“I knew it was going to be stolen, so I was prepared for it. I didn’t know it’d go to that length, and I know mine played to a minor bubble of the professional wrestling audience while the majority of it saw whatever the hell they put out there. The way I look at it is kind of like I was Wayne’s World.''

He also talked about how his friend, who he worked with on the idea, was very upset. EC3 said that WWE's attempt did not have heart in it which is why it didn't take off.

"It was just inauthentic and like I said, it had no heart. So I knew something would’ve been taken from it. I didn’t expect the whole aesthetic, and while it upset my friend, J.C. who I worked very hard on with it, at the same time, it’s just a challenge to do something different, better next time which I definitely plan on doing because again, control your narrative."
