#5 Triple H was unhappy with forgotten WWE Superstar

The WWE Network has continued to give the fans quality content, and the latest docu-series on the ruthless aggression era airing on the network is a good example. The latest episode of the show took a look at the Evolution's story in WWE.

Evolution was a faction that consisted of Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. It was the most dominant faction at the time and ran roughshod over RAW for years. Interestingly, Batista was not the first pick to be in the faction, it was former 2-time tag-team Champion Mark Jindrak.

However, Triple H was not happy with Jindrak after sharing a car ride with him and did not want him to be part of the faction, even calling him a 'third-grader'.

“I think we were in a car together for two hours. It was like being in a car – and no offence – but it was like being in a car with a third-grader. I’m not kidding.”

(H/T: Sportskeeda)

Triple H was so annoyed by Mark Jindrak that he even told Ric Flair that he did not want to be in a car with Jindrak ever again. He added that Randy Orton behaved well when he wasn't around Jindrak but the two Superstars together were too 'goofy' to handle.

#4 The Undertaker to return at Super ShowDown

Undertaker

The Undertaker does not have a match at this Thursday's Super Showdown event in Saudi Arabia. However, that does not mean that The Deadman will not be part of the show at all. As per reports from WON, The Undertaker will be present at the show and somehow be involved with AJ Styles to confirm their rumored match which is set to take place at WrestleMania 36.

Here is what The Observer stated:

Bryan Alvarez: So The Undertaker I presume is going there to shoot the angle for AJ?

Dave Meltzer: That's what I presume, yes. Yes. That match is still on, unlike so many of the other matches.

The Undertaker was spotted at the Riyadh International airport ahead of the event, thereby confirming that the former WWE Champion will indeed be making an appearance at the show.

There had been reports suggesting that The Undertaker had himself chosen AJ Styles as his opponent for WrestleMania as The Phenomenal One reminds Taker of his old nemesis - Shawn Michaels.

Though it's unlikely that the 2007 Royal Rumble winner will interfere during Styles' match, he may come out and challenge the former WWE Champion once his match is over.

#3 Sheamus could become the next IC Champion

The former WWE Champion Sheamus recently returned to the company after a sabbatical due to injury. While Sheamus was part of a tag team - The Bar - along with Cesaro before he had to take a break, The Celtic Warrior has returned as a singles competitor.

After moving through Superstars like Shorty G and Apollo Crews, Sheamus stated that he will now target a bigger prey. Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue has speculated that Sheamus may be being built towards a feud with Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman.

Tom Colohue stated that he sees a possible Sheamus vs Braun Strowman feud in the future; not only that, there is a chance that Sheamus might topple The Monster Among Men and become the next IC Champion.

What I can see going forwards is in his future, Sheamus. When you look at how they are building Sheamus up right now, he is so far above in terms of build where Cesaro is right now, his tag team partner of course, and when you look at him beating two men in handicap matches and things like that, I can see them building and building and get Sheamus up to the required level to be not only a good foil for Braun Strowman but to someone who can potentially overthrow him.

#2 Matt Hardy offered a new contract by WWE

There has been a lot of talk regarding Matt Hardy's future in the company. If reports are to be believed, Matt Hardy has not re-signed with the company and is likely heading to AEW once his current contract is finished up. His contract is scheduled to run out on March 1st, 2020.

The beating he received at the hands of Randy Orton a couple of weeks back was supposedly a way of writing him off from the company. However, a new report from PWInsider has stated that WWE is still trying to retain the former ECW Champion and have offered him an interesting new contract:

A lot of people have asked me what he’s going to be doing, this is just my theory. I know that WWE has made a lot of overtures to him in the last could of weeks. There’s been some talk of him working in the NXT system somehow. My gut feeling is that Matt Hardy will probably stay.”

Matt Hardy is a creative genius and it would be in WWE's best interest if he decides to stick with the company.

#1 WrestleMania card in 'a state of flux'

Brock Lesnar

WrestleMania season is in full gear but it looks like WWE is still uncertain regarding the card. While a 'leaked' report had hinted at the possible matches that will take place, most of the speculation has been debunked.

While talking on the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray stated that he has heard that the WrestleMania card is in a state of flux. He further added that only Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley and Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar are confirmed matches.

There was speculation that Roman Reigns will be facing Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship but it looks like that will not be happening this year. Here is what Bully Ray had stated:

I’ve heard rumblings within the WWE. Nothing is set in stone on the SmackDown side of WrestleMania. When it comes to the Universal Championship for WrestleMania, a lot of matches are in a ‘state of flux.’ I think we only have two definitive matches so far set, you know, Brock [Lesnar] and Drew McIntyre plus Charlotte [Flair] and Rhea [Ripley], everything else is up for grabs.” H/t Credit: SEScoops
