WWE Rumors: Big name set to make rare appearance on Raw

What's the story?

The most shocking moment of the 2019 WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view came in the closing stages when Brock Lesnar entered the men’s ladder match and claimed the briefcase.

According to PW Insider, we will not have to wait long to see “The Beast” back in a WWE arena.

In case you didn't know…

Sami Zayn defeated Braun Strowman on last week’s episode of Raw to take his place in the eight-man Money In The Bank ladder match alongside Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Ali, Andrade, Finn Balor and Randy Orton.

However, WWE told an ongoing story between Zayn and Strowman throughout the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, which culminated in Triple H sending Strowman home after Zayn had been found dangling upside down by his feet in the backstage area.

The eight-man ladder match only featured seven men for the first 18 minutes of the 19-minute encounter, and then Brock Lesnar surprisingly appeared and took out Ali before unhooking the briefcase to win the Money In The Bank contract for the first time in his career.

The heart of the matter

One day after the 2019 Money In The Bank pay-per-view, the May 20 episode of Raw will take place in Albany, New York.

PW Insider’s Mike Johnson is reporting that Brock Lesnar is in town and he is scheduled to make a rare appearance on WWE’s flagship show.

Lesnar’s last Raw outing came on April 1, six days before WrestleMania 35, when Seth Rollins stood tall ahead of their Universal Championship match.

What's next?

Nobody expected Brock Lesnar to show up at Money In The Bank, never mind win the men’s ladder match, so it is difficult to predict what we will see next from “The Beast” in WWE.

There have been widespread reports that he will face Universal champion Seth Rollins at the Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia on June 7, which seems to suggest that he could take Braun Strowman’s 2018 approach by cashing in his Money In The Bank contract at a pre-arranged time.
