WWE Rumors: The Fiend vs. Daniel Bryan match outcome revealed [SPOILERS]

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in one of the featured matches at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 24.

According to Wrestling News Co’s Paul Davis, the current storyline with Bryan “extends beyond his feud with Wyatt” and WWE has bigger plans for the Universal Champion.

Davis added that there are no plans to take the Universal Championship away from “The Fiend”, meaning he is set to retain his title at Sunday’s event in Chicago, Illinois.

Why are “The Fiend” and Daniel Bryan feuding?

In recent weeks, Sami Zayn has been trying to encourage Daniel Bryan to align with him and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown.

On the November 8 episode, Zayn made another passionate plea to Bryan about a possible alliance during a backstage segment. “The Fiend” then interrupted the conversation, prompting Zayn to make a quick escape, and the Universal Champion locked in the mandible claw on Bryan.

The most recent episode of SmackDown ended with Wyatt, speaking from his ‘Firefly Fun House’, agreeing to put his title on the line against the one-time WrestleMania main-eventer in a match at Survivor Series.
