There were some shocking botches last night on SmackDown

WWE SmackDown: 3 Botches you missed this week (December 13th, 2019)

It was the final show before TLC last night in Milwaukee but even though no more matches were officially added to the TLC card, there was plenty of storyline buildup for the fans to sink their teeth into.

The highlight of the night was Bray Wyatt having some Firefly Fun in Miz and Maryse's house since he left another warning for his TLC opponent when Monroe was seen playing with a doll that looked very much like the female version of The Fiend.

Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin continued to build towards their Tables, Ladders and Chairs match tomorrow night, whilst The Revival and The New Day also got into the action as Friday Night SmackDown once again went off the air with a bang last night.

Even though the show was completely stacked as always, there were several botches that many fans may have missed throughout the show.

#3 Michael Cole's commentary

Michael Cole's commentary last night on SmackDown was shocking

There has been a lot said online about Jim Ross' commentary over on AEW over the past few weeks, but it could be argued that Michael Cole was on the same level last night on SmackDown.

The WWE veteran tripped over his words a number of times, forgot the name of the sponsors for the episode of the show on the FOX Network and then called the names of moves by the wrong name several times.

Cole appeared to be having quite a rough night on commentary, but that easily could have been down to the fact that SmackDown was another fantastic episode and he couldn't keep up with the action. Hopefully, this is fixed on Sunday night when WWE rolls into Minneapolis, Minnesota for the final pay-per-view of 2019.

#2 Sonya Deville is miles away

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross picked up the win over Rose and Deville last night on SmackDown

Sonya Deville has been pushing for WWE to give her a chance to prove what she can do on Friday Night SmackDown in recent weeks, but the former MMA fighter has been embroiled in a feud with former Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in recent weeks after Deville and her partner Mandy Rose decided to make fun of the way Cross looks.

Last night on SmackDown, the four women collided in a tag team match, but it was sloppy by all of their standards given two of the women in there were former Champions. The worst moment of the match was when Sonya Deville attempted to punch Nikki Cross but the strike could be seen miles away from connecting with Cross but The Scottish star still decided to sell it.

Deville had her storyline canceled heading into WrestleMania this year and this has become a main storyline on Total Divas. She won't be gaining a decent push anytime soon if these botches continue to happen on live TV.

#1 Dash Wilder is thwarted by the new SmackDown set

Dash Wilder fell over on his way to the ring last night on SmackDown

The Revival take on The New Day this weekend at TLC and Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder will be hoping that they can reclaim The SmackDown Tag Team Championships when they take on their long-time rivals.

Ahead of the show, Dash and Dawson took on Shorty G and Mustafa Ali, but before they even made it to the ring, the duo seemed to run into some troubles. Dash Wilder attempted to come out through the curtain backward, much like he has many times in the past but forgot about the new SmackDown set.

Wilder tripped over the side of the stage and bumped hard on the floor whilst Dawson continued to walk down the ramp. Wilder can be seen shouting to his partner that he's fallen over, but Dawson doesn't notice for a few minutes so he's forced to stop and pick him up.

Mustafa Ali can then be seen finding the whole affair hilarious in the ring, whilst Shorty G looks as though he's wondering how Wilder just managed to fall through the curtain all on his own.
