#5 Roman Reigns’ showdown with Baron Corbin

The Big Dog is here
Ad

Last week, Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler in the main event of the show but the Big Dog couldn’t stand tall for long. Soon after the match, Reigns was attacked by King Baron Corbin.

Along with The Showoff and a few other men, Corbin was successful in brutalizing the Big Dog. But that was not all, as together they tied Reigns to the ring post and covered him in dog food. Following that insulting segment, Reigns is now all set to come back for his revenge.

Tonight, we'll see Reigns and Corbin exchange blows in the go-home show before TLC where they are set to lock horns. The rivalry between these Superstars has gotten more intense with each passing week. Hence, Reigns will look to show us a glimpse of what’s coming on Sunday, as he hopes to silence the King once and for all.

#4 Bayley to defend her title against Lacey Evans?

Bayley to the rescue?

Sasha Banks had a brief segment with Lacey Evans last Friday during which the latter demanded the Legit Boss to step back and acknowledge the potential of the Sassy Southern Belle. While it looked like Evans was going to have the last laugh, the Women’s Champion of the Blue brand had different plans.

Just as Evans was exiting the ramp, Bayley walked out and attacked her from behind. In the end, she came to the aid of her best-friend and tonight, we might see the official announcement of the title match between Bayley and Evans at TLC.

It is also possible that someone will come to the aid of Evans to even the odds against Bayley who is bound to have Banks by her side. It will be interesting to see both these Superstars exchange more than words before they compete in a match with the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line.

#3 Bray Wyatt has his eyes on The Miz

Is The Miz prepared for the 'nightmare' that changes everyone?

While Bray Wyatt has briefly sent Daniel Bryan out of the equation, he is still looking for a friend to ‘play’ and we know that he eyeing The Miz. Last week, Wyatt attacked Miz after mentioning the latter’s family in the ‘Firefly Fun House’ segment.

A frantic Miz spoke with his family but Bray was right there, lurking in the dark and he sought the perfect opportunity to take down the former Intercontinental Champion with the help of Sister Abigail.

Bray Wyatt is set to lock horns with Miz in a singles match at TLC and tonight, we'll see Miz addressing Wyatt’s actions from last week. Since it will be Bray who will appear and not The Fiend, it will be interesting to see what transpires when these Superstars stand head-to-head in the go-home show before the last PPV of the year.

#2 The New Day and The Revival set the tone for the upcoming PPV

A feud to remember...

The rivalry between The New Day and The Revival has been quite entertaining. They have spent a better part of the year feuding for Tag Team Championships on the Blue brand.

Last week, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated three teams – the Lucha House Party, the Heavy Machinery, and the team of Shorty G and Mustafa Ali to earn a shot at the SmackDown Tag Team titles.

They are set to lock horns with The New Day on Sunday and will look to capitalize on the opportunity to take back their championships from the duo that defeated them for the gold in the first place.

Tonight, we might see both these teams engage in a final showdown before they head towards another Championship bout that is bound to keep the fans invested for a long time.

#1 What’s next for Elias?

No one should refuse to 'Walk with Elias'!
Ad

After spending a few weeks away from WWE TV, Elias finally returned to the Blue brand and was seen poking fun at Drake Maverick and his marriage after the latter ‘appeared to be hitting on’ Dana Brooke.

Hopefully, WWE had that segment only to cement Elias’ return and are not planning on going ahead with a possible storyline between Maverick and Brooke because RAW (disappointingly) has that storyline covered. But it is still possible that Dana Brooke will accompany him for a while now, considering their recent alliance over the mutual dislike for Maverick.

Tonight, we might see Elias engage in a one-off encounter in a filler match. Despite its minimum impact in the build-up for TLC, any segment featuring Elias will be entertaining, which would account for a good break from the ongoing storylines on the Blue brand.
