WWE SmackDown Results December 4th, 2020: Latest Friday Night SmackDown Winners, Grades, Video Highlights

SmackDown kicked off after a tribute to the late Pat Patterson and Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Paul Heyman were out first for an in-ring interview. Reigns and Uso were set to face Otis and Kevin Owens in a tag match later tonight after KO called Roman out last week.

Kayla Braxton was conducting the interview and Reigns called her an amateur whose biggest moment was this interview after she asked him if he was scared of Owens. She then asked if Roman was manipulating Uso and Reigns denied, throwing shade at Kayla again and told Heyman to 'handle it'.

Heyman stepped in and started spouting FOX's ratings for SmackDown since Reigns' return before Kevin Owens interrupted them. Owens challenged Roman to a title match at TLC or even right then. Reigns accepted but then walked out of the ring, saying that he wasn't a savage and would wait till the right time.

Owens called out to Reigns as he was walking away and called him a 'b*tch', not a gentleman'.

Backstage, Uso was furious and apologized for stepping out of line before. Roman said that he still loved him but also that his actions would have consequences.

Bayley vs. Natalya on SmackDown

Bayley had the upper hand early on and Natalya was caught on the ropes as The Role Model landed a huge kick through the ropes. Bianca Belair was on commentary and Bayley got in her face, allowing Natalya to recover and take her out from behind.

Back on SmackDown after a break, Natalya locked in the sharpshooter and Bayley tapped out. Belair was celebrating at ringside and mocked the former SmackDown Women's champ for the loss.

We got a short but heartfelt tribute to Pat Patterson before SmackDown continued. A tribute match was scheduled to honor Patterson who was the first-ever Intercontinental Champion.

Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler & Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio & Big E - Tribute Match for Pat Patterson on SmackDown

Nakamura and Mysterio started off the match on SmackDown before Daniel and Ziggler were tagged in. Team Sami was in trouble as Bryan took out Ziggler with a knee strike and tagged in Big E. Ziggler made the tag as well before Big E was tossing Nakamura around in the ring.

Ziggler was in trouble in the ring before Daniel was tagged back in and he went for a top rope move but almost got pinned with a rollup. Bryan took the Famouser but Big E broke the following pin. Zayn interfered and sent E into the barricades before sneaking the tag in.

Bryan thought Dolph was the legal man and hit the running knee but Zayn tried to roll him up after. Bryan turned it into a submission hold before eventually rolling Zayn up for the pin on SmackDown.

Result: Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio & Big E def. Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler & Shinsuke Nakamura

The winning team was retreating after the match but came back for some post-match shenanigans. After taking out Sami and Shinsuke, they hit Dolph with their respective finishers.

Owens was in a backstage interview on SmackDown where he abused Roman before Otis came in and was hyped for the tag match with Reigns and Uso.

Sasha Banks and Carmella were in a split-screen interview and Banks trashed on 'Mella, saying she always needed the help of someone like R-Truth. Carmella said that she didn't have to work hard because she was superior. Carmella asked for a title shot and Banks agreed to a match at TLC.

Murphy vs. Baron Corbin on SmackDown

After last week's interruptions, King Corbin came out with a backup of his own and it turned out that it was none other than Cutler and Blake from the Forgotten Sons. Corbin started off strong and Murphy managed to turn it around with a rana and sent Corbin outside but the king's helpers distracted him, letting Corbin toss Murphy into the time keeper's area.

Corbin was back in control again but Murphy came in with a huge dropkick and took him out. Corbin was hit with the flash knee before Cutler and Blake attacked Dominik and Rey Mysterio at ringside on SmackDown.

Corbin picked up the win on SmackDown

Murphy was distracted by the attack on the Mysterios, allowing Corbin to hit the End of Days in the ring and get the three-count on SmackDown.

The Street Profits were backstage on SmacKDown and were approached by Bobby Roode and Cesaro who argued about who the best tag team on SmackDown were.

Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. Otis & Kevin Owens on SmackDown

Otis and Uso started off the match and Roman Reigns was nowhere to be seen. Could this be the consequences Roman was alluding to earlier in the night? Uso was taking a beating after Owens tagged in when Roman Reigns came out and joined the match.

Roman came in without a tag and took Otis out with a Superman Punch before sending him into the announce desk, the steel post, and the steps. Roman smashed Otis with the steel steps over and over before Owens attacked him. After a break, Reigns and Owens were in the ring and Owens took a superman punch.

Jey Uso came back in and was in control but missed the splash in the corner and was hit with the cannonball as Reigns facepalmed in the corner. Owens hit a splash and a DDT for a near fall. Owens taunted Reigns and hit the Samoan Drop on Uso before yelling at Reigns to step in the ring on SmackDown.

Owens was distracted as Uso hit a Superkick and went to finish it but Reigns said that he would be the one to finish it. Uso hesitated but made the tag before Owens fought back and took out Jey with the Stunner.

Reigns stepped in even though he was not legal and locked in the guillotine, earning his team a DQ loss. Uso got two chairs from ringside and they smashed Owens with it over and over before Uso hit a Splash through it on SmackDown.

Result: Otis & Kevin Owens def. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso via DQ

Roman then turned on his cousin, hitting him with the steel chair, and then threatened Owens, saying that he would take away everything from him.

We got a slower episode but a decent main event tonight on SmackDown. The promos took center stage with two TLC title match announcements and a tribute match to one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
